Beside GSTREAMER not playing flac in 3.0: (thats a diferent problem)

Are you Guys Sure it isnt a problem with the HDD ??? There is another user having similar frezzing when plaing video files from a hard drive using a VU+ duo...

I can confirm this, it's not just Flac though, for instance mp3 files can't be played either.

Playing movies with the mediaplayer works fine and produces working audio. Why is this? Is a videostream with embedded audio passed to the dvb while a single audiostream is played through the audio device directly? (edit: yes)

Yea i can see that there is basically no audio device exposed at all...
