I would wager that this means that your enigma2 hasn't synced to last night's build yet. The patches *are* needed for this skin to work properly.

May I remind you guys of the fact that the image for my xp1000 box hasnt been build this night, so none of the necessary patches are live to download.
Try again tommorrow and make sure the image date is increased!

This skin is, as of now, publicly available on permanent repository:

git://devel.cuci.nl/enigma-plugin-skins-pli-scale-hd

Can someone (littlesat?) check if the format presented is usable to include it in the build?
I tried to put a correct Makefile.am in every directory. I'm not quite sure if this is enough?
Any other metafiles I should be including?
The skin name is supposed to be PLi-Scale-HD (unless someone has a better suggestion).
Should I then rename the repository to that name?

When will it be available in the download section of PLi (I can't find the PLi-scale-HD in the skin section)? I'm eager to use this skin (but if it is installed through applications, it will be updated also when necessary).

Explain what you need, or where does it need to go?
Is it missing metafiles?

Ok, I'll prepare the .bb file.
One question though, I see that your skin includes two font files outside the PLi-HD directory. What if my skin wants to use those? Do I need to predepend on your skin, or are they available in a separate font package?

Make separate packages for fonts. Even if only one skin is using them. The reason behind it is that fonts rarely ever change, so just downloading and writing them to flash once is enough. Just add the font to the RDEPENDS of the skin. And it allows for sharing, and proper licensing (fonts often have their own license and usage terms) since it's unlikely that your skin and the fonts you got somewhere on the internet have the exact same license.

That is direct, honest and brief :-). I'll figure it out.

Might I suggest someone check the PLi-HD skin package then. The git repository includes two fonts; if that propagates to inclusion of both fonts in the final .ipk file, then they should be put in their own package, I presume.

Because I can't download it in applications (yet), what would be the way to test this skin (Im very curious but don't know where to get the latest version)?

In the PLi-HD skin the GMEPG has a nice 3dlook, is this possible in this skin too?

Yes. The GMEPG screens are being tuned as we speak, and the 3d look will be back after the tuning has been done.

The tuning has reached a stage where it can be published. It's still a WIP (Work In Progress), but it already is very usable and in order to allow others to more easily use it and/or provide feedback, I submitted the patches to OpenPLi now for mainstream inclusion.

The (presumably) exact same ipk file that will become part of the normal feed is provided as an attachment as well.
