Well, I suspect that the subtitles are trying to be clever and hide when Infobar is active. Instead they should simply (always) display but use the standard transparency/zPosition calculations to determine (in)visibility.

Extra bonus points if the display of the subtitle screen automatically shifts along with Pig scaling and position.

For the InfoBar screen I have a kind-of kludgy solution: I limit the screen to the top 33% of the display, which then leaves room for the subtitles to appear below.

On the SecondInfoBar screen this kludge (obviously) does not work. I tried to find a combination that works (using various forms of transparency and zPositions in both SecondInfoBar and SubtitleDisplay), but the behaviour is not what I expected.

A minor cosmetic: the green button in the about screen has no label.

. Also I noticed the cursor in the typing field in the search screen of the 1channel plugin hasn't the same height as the letters, but goes down a long way (it does have the correct height in PLi-HD).

Sorry, typo; I indeed meant 'SatScan' (which is far from a replacement of the PositionerSetup; they serve a different purpose).
Indeed it are plugins, but IMHO every satellite-STB will have these two installed.

Well, I have a satellite-STB, and I don't have either. I do have satfinder though. AFAICS I'm not missing any functionality, so I'm indeed wondering what I could be missing. All the scan-screens I have in my box are skinned; well, maybe not, there appears to be a new one when I press Ok in the Satfinder now, but apart from that, it already looks complete.

So yes, I'd like to know why I'd need anything else.

Well, I would say: install SatScan and PositionerSetup and you'll see (OK, granted: PositionerSetup is not very useful if you have no positioner (i.e. motorised dish)).

Correct. I'm still having an extended argument with that screen and the "wonderful" python applet in there. Will probably be fixed sometime next week.

That page has not been skinned yet. Speaking of Youtube plugins... Is there consensus on which one is best, and if not, why don't people concentrate on fixing one and providing all the missing features of all the others in this single one?

Mytube plays the video's out of the box without the help of a computer. The youtube plugin needs an external computer to play Youtube video's. So if there were no license problems the Mytube would suffice for everybode. The maker of the pluging though included a TMPD check which (officially) may not be removed according to the license so the plugin only works on Dreamboxes (and not Xtrend, VU+ etc). There are hacked versions on the net without the check, but PLi can't include these in the download section because they want to respect licences although they don't agree with this particular one.

The code of Mytube (and plugins like Yttrailer etc) are open source, so the best solution would be to write a new plugin Mytube/Yttrailer like plugin with a GPL license. But so far this hasn't been done (yet).

I honestly must say I don't know. I use mytube on my Dreambox and a hacked one on my Xtrend because it just works (without the need of VLC, a computer etc) so I never use any other plugin.

IMHO it isn't: I was never able to get it to work. And using VLC suggests it needs an active PC as well.There is a fully (good) working version embedded in WebMedia.
