Try Menu - Plugins -GREEN - Softcams and look for mgcamd.

ET9000, OpenPLi 4.0, 13E, 19E

HD51, OpenPLi 6.2, 75E - 30W

What do you mean "no luck"? Didn't you find it there or didn't you manage to install it?
You can also try and find it under packet management option.
Do you perhaps have a clone box?

i didnt find any option and I am not sure clone or original My friend gave me as a gift.
Can you tell me how to tell diffence?

I got it seems its clone so how I am gonna get mgcamd working? Please help :)

Unfortunately, we do not support clones here.
Go to your box supplier.

it's gift from my friend so I don't think I will get support from the supplier :(

Sorry i found a way to do it.

This is how....

opkg install --force-removal-of-dependent-packages /tmp/enigma2-plugin-softcams-mgcamd_1.38-r1_mips32el.ipk

Now it works great

it's work in OpenPli 4.0 if i want to remove mgcamd_1.38_mips32el.pk

opkg install --force-removal-of-dependent-packages /tmp/enigma2-plugin-softcams-mgcamd_1.38-r1_mips32el.ipk

Now it works great

it's work in OpenPli 4.0 if i want to remove mgcamd_1.38_mips32el.pk

wicard is function, but in emicropanel in unistaller i see written mgcamd???

Iam satisfied with this topic because I solved the mgcam problem in my vu+ solo 2 which now works fine.

 

Thanks a lot the member who gives the attachment mgcam .1.38

Today Iam not Lucky with my Dreambox 800 hd original an OpenPli 2.1.  Suddenly it doesn't work mgcamd. Till two days ago everything was fine for a long time.

 

I tried mgcamd 1.38 but nothing. Is there any idea how i will fix it.

Chances are that mgcamd is now so old that no trick going to get it running again.

 

Which imho is a good thing, as there is no reason to use it. afaik there is nothing mgcamd can do that OScam can't.


Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

+1, tell us which cards need mgcamd and maybe we can help.

can someone still decrypting swiss srf chs on hotbird using patched mgcamd-srf for openpli? even installed allrequired files libcrypto & libcrypto-compat , softcam.keys & mg.cfg & cam is running but not openinig swiss chs anymore , tested on both openpli4 & openpli-6-rc & patched mgcamd not opening srf swiss chs with emu keys
