This works for me unfortunately not, the image remains on black on my DM8000-HD.

Keys on jsc sport changes every hour.
How do you want to watch these channels without automatic updates SoftCam.Key?
Will be installing keys manually?

It installes automaticallyfrom the feed.
All you need is edit your files afterwards. They are located here: /usr/keys/

ET9000, OpenPLi 4.0, 13E, 19E

Are you talking about ipk files? You do not need to store them anywhere.
All you need is "browse" the feed for you softcam and choose to install it (OK+green or green+OK, as far as I can remember).
Then you just need to modify your mgcamd settings files.

ET9000, OpenPLi 4.0, 13E, 19E

HD51, OpenPLi 6.2, 75E - 30W

Where did you get the mgcamd 1.38 from?
As far as I can remember, only 1.35a is available on the feed. So I assume you must have taken it from another source and I guess it may not be suitable for OpenPLi. If you do not want to use 1.35a from the feed, you must find a proper version for your box and your image.
However, if you did find the right IPK, I guess you just did not install it correctly. You need to put the fiel in /tmp/ and then "install local packet" from the menu.
