My box was programed by some one else and i do not know the password. Is there anyway i can change it?

Thanks littlesat. When i reflash box will it will erase everything right?
Any other way i can get the code being use on the box before i reflash it?

Install a plugin that allows you to change the root password.
I'm not quite sure what the current plugin does, if it requires you to type the old password first; but it is possible to create a "recovery-plugin" that would simply allow you to overwrite the password.

Thanks Bugless how do i add a plugin? I have all programs that go with box.

This reminds me of dm500s being sold/let including closed firmware which includes "subscriptions" (illegal of course) to all sorts of channels...
