hi guys

need some help...

i have a vu+ with the last openpli image.
i have a dvb-c tuner and a dvb-s2, for the dvb-c i use ccam and for the dvb-s2 mgcamd. is it normal that i have to change the emu manually everytime i change a channel between both tuner ? or where can i configure this ?

Is it possible to configure it like this: tunerA = Mgcamd and tuner B= ccam ?

A big thx in advance
L

you cannot run two softcams at the same time, but you want to use both tuners at the same time.
So your situation cannot be solved.

hi

mmmhh my english is not good, sorry.

i don't want to use two tuner at the same time. i just want the box to automaticaly change the emu when i change the tuner.

so let's say i'm watching something on dvb-c with ccam and then i want to zap on another channel on the dvbs-2 tuner, then what i need is that the box automatically stop the ccam and start the mgcamd.

is it possible ?

thx

what if a scheduled recording starts while you're watching tv?
(or two scheduled recordings are running at the same time?)
Both tuners can be active at the same time, but you cannot run two softcams at the same time.
So your situation cannot be solved.

This is possible what you ask, just no-one has bothered to do it... if only i could code ;) Being able to run two or more softcams attached to whatever tuner your using is certainly a very useful feature, it's a feature i would very much like, maybe in enigma 2 this isn't possible yet, finggers crossed for enigma 3...

I think this is the solution your looking for below...

Here is a solution for you, this changes the softcam automatically depending on the provider, channel or whatever:

It will not work for 99% of the people, because the tuners are allocated whenever they are needed.
That's the reason nobody implemented this, nobody likes to implement something which will only work under a very strict set of limitations (which cannot be forced)
