I've seen a few days ago, it's possible to donate. I think it's a good idea if we help the support to continue to improve this good product. Can someone explain me how this money will be used? To maintain the site? To add the development?

I think parasol was "trying" to be funny, saying they'd buy beer/liquor with it.
I suspect most, if not all donations, go to webhosting of multiple PLi servers, but I have no direct knowledge...

Indeed, we use it for things like a buildserver, download servers and bandwidth.
