Hello,

I upgrade with the last openPli. And All MKV and XVID, DIVX video crash (Green Screen). Nothing work.
I put on a zip all mediacenter crash.

It's not OpenPli 2012/11/16 but OpenPli 2012/11/18 (sorry for date)

OpenPli 2012/11/19 update have the problem too.
Little precision at my the first message of this tread. The mediaplayer crash when i started all files movies.

Same problem here with update from today morning.

I confirm the above mentioned problem on my ET9X00. All files that need gstreamer are crashing enigma2 (avi, mkv, even mp3).

After todays's gstreamer update enigma2 doesn't crash, but still doesn't playback the files.
Here is output from an .mp3 file

true, probably caused by the glib-2.0 update.
Unfortunately there is no easy fix / quick workaround.
Downgrading glib-2.0 cannot be done without a clean rebuild, and clean flash.

@pieterg: flashing new image fixes the problem? If it does we just need to find out which other package also needs to be built again. Python might be one possible package that also needs rebuilt.

No, it doesn't. It fixes the e2 crashes, but gstreamer typefind does not find valid media. (even if you run the playbin2 with gst-launch)
I believe this can only be caused by the glib-2.0 update. (or possibly orc, but I don't think orc is used during the typefind phase)

Thanks a lot for your work (developer and tester).

I updated yesterday evening (19/11 - 22h00) and the Media player play video now.
I don't know if these problems is resolve at this time but i report them.

!! The DTS downmixing is enabled !!

When i pass a AC3 track to DTS track, it's ok
When i pass a DTS track to other DTS track, i have the gears infinitely, i must do a power off/on of my box.
I don't test AC3 track to other AC3 track.

After a forward or rewind action (<< and >> button) with dts track the sound is out of sync.
When i use 1,4,7 and 3,6,9 button with dts, the movie freeze or sound is out of sync.

When i used forward or rewind action (<< and >> button) and 1,4,7 and 3,6,9 button with AC3 TRACK, i have the gears infinitely, i must do a power off/on of my box.
I don't have crash log.

Is it possible to correct the problem ?

Hello,

When i just started a mkv with AC3 track and i wanted to jump forward in time, i had the gears infinitely,I had to make a power off/on of my box. (Update 2012-11-21 06:28:31)
Next day, i updated at 2012-11-21 this problem had disappeared.
My last update 2012-11-23 20:33:56 the problem of 2012-11-21 come back. (i have not make update this 24-11)
I am surprised because AC3 Tracks are normaly decoded by the hardware.

I noticed that this problem is the same that I encounter with mkvs with a DTS track.
