Hereby I officially extend the license for this MX HD2 skin and donate this skin to OpenPLi team.
If the skin is published in the Black Pole git I will publish the link to the Black Hole git.

I hope someone from the OpenPLi team can make nessesary modifications for OpenPLi.
Probably in the future, more skins will be made available to the OpenPLi.

With this skin and future skins I would like to reward the PLi team for their correct behaviour and our work together.

OK guys, skin is ready for use with OpenPLi. What i have changed till now:

1. Deleted all BH related screens and converters
2. Used OpenPLi default converters
3. Fixed secondinfobar in order to be be compatible with OpenPLi converters
4. Changed a few colors
5. Added "Next event" in ChannelSelection screen
6. Moved fonts folder to other location
6. Other small adjustments

one remark -
something is messed up in skin.xml down from line ~440 (seems like most of line endings were gone/?/) which makes it hardly editable (or rather uneditable at all... )

and my 2 cents on the skin itself:
first general impression - skin is a bit too glaring...
infobars - I like it much (but still too bright to my taste)
(bright) solid color backgrounds - well, I am not such a fan
did some experiments with slightly darkened colors (few test screenshots attached)...
opinions?
//btw. hopefully I won't lose my shirt because of this illegal /?/ graphics modification

Well, you are right. Not sure how to quickly fix that...

Regarding bright colors. Yep, skin is very bright in the dark environment, but this is author´s decision. Maybe we should also create "night" version? What do you Matrix10 think about this?

depends whether you've modified anything in screens started from the "Volume" screen...
if not, attached skin.xml shoud be fixed and ok OOTB
(please test it yourself, to be sure I didn't confuse anything, got 'few' versions here )
and if there were some changes in mentioned part, need to be reentered...

replace MX HD2 folder

Changes:

OSD (No analog clock)
Default picon Open PLi
Background in panels >darker
Font color in Channelselect (old version to much red)
etc

I must say that the quality of the fonts in the OpenPLi image
lags behind that of the original VU + coding.
Probably because they made a compromise in skin coding base
linked to other elements of image.
In any case, the fonts with the same skin coding
do not look the same.

Maybe they could look at this .

You could talk to the pli developers, i am not using vu+ enigma derived images, so i do not know the difference.

New changes from you are nice, especially darker screens. Will implement this to github sources.
