Hi,

in pli 2.1 if i installed the dvdburn plugin it gives the depends projectx, mjpegtools and so on
but now in pli 3.0 it gives only the depends enigma2-fonts no more projectx or mjpegtools and so on.
i also can't found projectx or mjpegtools on the feed.
where can i found this packages (binarys) now ?

Hi guys,

no interest ?

on the pli feed i can find and install the plugin dvdburn - that's insofar ok
but id didn't work because all helper programms as project, mjpegtools, dvdauthor, dvd-rw-tools, and so on are not on your feed

since pli-3.0 in the plugin dvdburn is as depend now only enigma2-fonts specified
earlier in pli-2.0 and pli-2.1 in the plugin dvdburn are following depends specified dvd+rw-tools, dvdauthor, mjpegtools, cdrkit, python-imaging, projectx, enigma2

is this plugin now obsolete or is it now only for dreamboxes or what is with it ?

I think I saw somewhere that one needs to install 'cutlisteditor' and/or 'moviecut' to allow dvdburn to work?

no cutlisteditor and/or moviecut has nothing to do with dvdburn.

isn't it because projectx and mjpegtools cannot handle mpeg-4/HD streams so they have become obsolete.

ok, then it's obsolete but why ? the box can not only make records in HD she can make SD records too.
and when it is obsolete why is it nor ever on the feed ?

Guess they were just forgotten. You're the first to ask about them, so I guess there wasn't much demand for it.
I'll see if it can easily be fixed.

Now DVD Burn can be installed without errors, but it gives a errorcode 1 at 6% when start burning.

Hi MiLo,

thanks now dvdburn install works, i found also all on feed as dvdauthor, mjpegtools and so on... only projectx i didn't found - is this no longer needed for dvdburn ?

i started dvdburn for two records but i become the same error as @Beeker without any logfiles
the error message is only Fehlercode 1 in german language

Yea getting the same problem here gets about 6% then error code 1 anyone figured out a fix for this please.

Hi,

 

still the same issue, it stucks at 6 percent and aborts with error code 1.

This issue even appears in case just an ISO image is to be created.

So unfortunately this plugin is currently completely useless, until someone fixes this.

Is there any chance that somebody can take a closer look at this?

Bluntly put, you'll need to find someone with both the skills to figure out the problem and fix it, and who also cares about creating DVDs on the box.

i have the same problem now in pli-4.0 too, anyway it exits for a long time - how can we find out who is the maintainer from dvdburn plugin ?

i think this is the man that we need.
