rytec.channels.xml.gz file is 0 KB in size.

fixed now. thanks for the markup, still having problems with my ftp upload with my new ISP and I have not found a solution yet so I have to do it manual again.

how do i instal rytec.channels.xml.gz on a dm800 with blackhole image thx new to all this

You do not need to install this file.
In Blackhole there is a EPG tool which also uses our epg data files but they import the ready to use epg.dat files

Ha,

Outdated weblink.
You should update the links. Do not know how in BH this accomplished.
But download this and take a look.

dont know how to up date the weblink sorry i downloaded bhep i know how to use dcc if that helps

yes, you have to copy the bhepgproviders.cfg file with dcc to your box.
I think it is in /etc

ok done that i get the movies epg in full but not sky sports or entertainment or discovery

please compare your service codes of these channels with the service codes in rytec.channels.xml.gz on my website
Maybe there are some differences or missing codes in our files.

haha, search in it for the section sky uk and then scroll down to the channel for which you want to compare it with the service code in your satellite box, you press menu, information and then streaminfo on your remote control, then you will recognize the code, ofcourse you need to be on the right channel...

Sky UK is only downloading 8000 entries where it normally downloads nearly 80000 entries.
Is there an issue...

well i,m none the wiser i,v found the service code on my dm but hard to find service code in section sky as their are so many is their a rytec.channels.xml.gz just for uk so i can check or can some one do 1 so i can check many thx

Try to search with the search function of the texteditor

If the service ref is:
1:0:1:2841:0067:0001:ffff0000:0:0:0:

try searching with the search string: 2841
This will limit the amount of service references to be checked.

every think looks the same to me but there again all over my head epg for movies is ok every think else i have knothink if any one wants to take quick look on team view just give me time and day ty
