Can someone provide actual how-to for building OpenPLi 3.0 lates image?

This should be enough.

git clone git://openpli.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/openpli/openpli-oe-core
cd openpli-oe-core
MACHINE=dm500hd make image

ummm that script does not work for me on ubuntu 12.10. When try to compile it gives errors

sorry I can't point in the right direction working blind.
are you trying to use the attached file or did you do as I said and follow the link ?, from your reply you tried the Makefile-2.01 makefile but in your 1st post you did specify 3.0 which is what the link will help you with in virtually a copy and paste method.

I am using 12.04 lts (64) not sure about 12.10 i'm afraid.

well actually i was use the link you showed to me and used the script mentioned for building openpli 3.0 image. however when i do make image after few time it rise errors and cant finish building

can you copy and paste the errors here ?
when I run the script the 1st time it loops so I control c to exit the loop.
more info is needed as to the errors and with luck can get it to work for you.
