Hi all
Unfortunately, in India, the government has imposed on Internet filtering.
Many websites and blogs are inaccessible in Iran. Because the government has blocked most of the sites.
Using VPN, can be easily passed through the filter.
VPN, IP will change and we as an American citizen or ... Enter the Internet, and we can use the Internet without restrictions.
Unfortunately, there is no enigma 2 plugin for VPN.
So we Enigma 2, we are faced with severe limitations for most servers and online Panel is closed.
All Forums need to plugin in Enigma 2 VPN because they are faced with severe restrictions.
Developers who have the ability to write plugin please, I ask, a plugin for Iranian users to create VPN.

It's far better/more secure to not run a vpn on satellite receiver, but on a seperate device.

Neither OpenVPN nor PPTP is something that runs as plugin in enigma, only the user interface. The actual vpn tunnel is made on linux level. So simply adding "a plugin" is not the issue.

I still very much recommend buying a router that does ipsec/pptp/openvpn and has firewalling capabilities as well. You don't want the gouvernment etc. nosing around in your local network.

Unfortunately the price is too expensive router VPN in Iran.
The best way to use VPN software on Enigma 2.
Enigma 2 is the only, or for the PC and Windows, no problem.
So it's worth noting that a router can buy expensive receivers.

we cant access and Receive many files,kernels,plugins and Subtitles that must be downloaded as online.
please solve this problem for us (iranian peapole) Because this problem is very Annoying for us.

Iranian government, the Internet is limited, and most sites are blocked.
To solve this problem, we will use the VPN.
Unfortunately, there is no enigma 2 VPN capabilities.
We desperately need to VPN in Enigma 2.

You don't need a plugin on enigma2, as enigma2 is just user interface.
But you can install vpn on your settopbox. openvpn is in our feed. You should be able to install it and configure it like you would on a normal linux pc.

I am not sure we have the necessary tun device in the kernel btw. If it is there, yes, you can use openvpn from the feed (thought we dropped it a long time ago, but that's probably for enigma1-boxes).

How to Install VPN on the set top box?
Also a Debian Linux, such as Ubuntu, requires no special configuration, using the graphical interface, you can easily use the VPN.
Enigma 2 VPN setup and configuration, now how can we?
Because Enigma 2, there is no graphical interface for the VPN!

Google is your friend! There a thousands of users that succeed in setting up an openvpn connection from the command line (on various linux distributions). If there are any issues specific to OpenPLi you can ask them here I will give you a headstart: "opkg install openvpn". And then you do "opkg files" to see where it keeps it configuration. From there, the configuration is exactly the same as every other linux distro.

Still I think it is a very bad idea to connect your box directly to the internet.

I do not think there is a VPN kernel Enigma 2.

openvpn is indeed available via our feeds

OpenVPN needs to be installed on clients. Protocols like IPSec, IKE, PPTP, or L2TP are not supported: http://wiki.blue-pan....2_OpenVPN_(en)
Unfortunately it does not support PPTP protocol.
Open VPN Iranians do not think we will.
