Bit of a problem, because the the enigma1 version are not updated anymore.
But we should get it back to work. It needs a bit of adaptation.
I will need a bit of time to make myself again acquainted to this program.

to be continued.

When looking through my material, I came accross alarming news about using this stuff on a DM500.
In order to use this, you need to activate the sqlite feature of the image.
The salite database has to be located in the case of a DM500 on a mounted device. The only mount that works is a CIFS mount.
However about 50 % of the people who tried this, failed to get sqlite working on a mount. It should be possible though.

I developped everything on a DM600PVR (which i do not have anymore) with a build in HDD. The database was located on the HDD.

Take a look here:

http://openpli.org/f...ifs#entry197874

and

http://openpli.org/f... rytec__st__20

Now the skylink batch file provide in the package is a bit outdated. You should replace it with the attached. After unzipping of course.
(in /var/bin/)

Remember that the mappings are probably outdated. You will have to perform an import first (the progress bar does not work).
Do the channel mappings, and import again.
After this everything works automatic, if you configured it to use Cron.

Ok, CIFS is not problem. I have two CIFS mounts on my home NAS. One is mounted for /var/ and second is mounted as /mnt/hdd. SQLite EPG Import plugin was already installed earlier. After use your updated file there is no error but "downloading" window (yes, progress bar not works) is shown for 20minutes with no results so I abort it. On mount is new file epg.db (about 6.5MB). Because downloading is not finished I'm not sure if now box use epg from sat or rytec. Is there any way to check it? Another observation is in plugin config > mapped channels are not all channels from skylink. And these channels which is not mapped have 7 days epg too, now I'm little confused what is going on :D

Import can take a long time. 20 minutes is possible.
But check which package are set active. Make only the skylink active.

You have to map the channels by hand.
