Hi all

I am really struggling to get this to work. I have read through pretty much ALL the posts, but still cannot get this to work.

I have a H9S receiver running Oscam with Emu. I can clear Racing Channel etc. on 39.0E, so must have the Oscam side of things setup correctly. I am sure the problem is with the lamedb file. I have downloaded the one a few pages back, and even tried this instead of my existing lamedb file (which obviously screwed up all channel listings!!).

Currently I have the  transponder lines just above the "End of Services"

then pasted the channel info just below:

I was wondering whether the existing channel info needs to be deleted?

Any help much appreciated.

I've got a plugin that sets this up with your eyes closed.

Any more detailed hint for a poor layman? :)

Thank you!

Yes, that would be amazing  :)

I tried a few more things last night, but still no joy.

The majority of attempts once I started enigma had all channels listed as <n/a> ??

I think I need to replace the existing entries in the lamedb file with these new ones (not just add them) but there are quite a few BBC ONE HD entries for example, so not sure which ones to replace?

Cheers

Hi, I run Openpli-PC for python 3, how can I get the plugin you mentioned?

Thanks

Hi everybody,

I'm also interested to use the BBC- script for the  python 3 image.

Could someone help to translate the python script into a python 3 version?

I have attached the bbc_pmt_v6 version.

Thank you in advance:

You don't need a script anymore. It is all built in to the image.

Thank you Huevos for the information!

Yes, the BBC- script works.

But for me is it not clear why the lamedb has differences to the Python 2 version.

Hi Huevos,

Thank you very much!

I'm using the same settings on differnt Linux- receivers (ULTIMO4K/ DM920/ ZGEMMA Combo).

I'm  a little bit irritated between the settings on openPli 8.3 and the listing from yourside.for the satback channels.

Here the part of lamedb in openPli 8.3.

It means that the lamedb is not more compatible to the Python2 boxes. :o

Or is this a mistake from myside?

No idea what you mean about lamedb and python2/3. lamedb is read by c++ code and is nothing to do with python.

Sorry, I can repeat my question;

I'm using my settings (include the lamedb) on different boxes without something to change:

The images are Python 2- based images (e.g. ZGEMMA with openPli 8.3)!.

I don't understand why my lamedb not works on the Python3- image!

You can compare your lamedb with my last posting.

Here again the sample:

BBC ONE HD (openPli 8.3):

Hi Huevos,

I'm sorry!

I didn't catch it. :D

You are right, the BBC- Script is is no longer necessary.

You lamedb is working.

Now I have reinstalled  the openHDF 7 image.

Thank you very much

BBC-script (decrypt PMT) is used so that lamedb does not have to be edited,

parameter f:4 blocks PMT, so the script is then useless

So are you saying we should be using a script? If so please point me to the post.

do you mean this?

    if capmtType == "short":
        # get descrambled PMT now:
        print os.popen("""dvbsnoop -timeout 1000 -pd 1 -n 1 -demux %s %s | grep "received" """ % (demux,pmtPid)).readline().rstrip()

I meant the whole lot, but anyway that is Python 2.

Also, in this thread it say the script is no longer needed. So please can you explain why the script is needed.
