blady74, try with some different demux numbers. Edit bbc_pmt_starter.sh (bbc_pmt_v5.py -t short -d /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux3). Try with 0, 1, 2...

As written earlier it is always better to run py script manually first, after it is confirmed working, copy *.sh scripts for automatic startup.

Hallo.

1) DM 880se.

2) Oscam Ymode with right keys.

3) Open PLI from 12.03.14.

4) Files from bbc_pmt_v5.zip in usr/bin 755 attr.

5) dvbsnoop in in usr/bin 755 attr.

6)Total Freezing on every try to get BBC channlel form 27.5W (when I ve chosen anyone channel from this package total freezing and only way to cure situation is hard restarting with switch on/OFF button in rear wall of tuner).

What is wrong?

Could You help?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Send me PM.

Thanks doublet for Your answer.

I have tried to edit bbc_pmt_starter.sh:

demux0 - pmt error

demux1-3 - total freezing and rear panel button to restart.

Sorry for the level of the question but how to " run py script manually first", maybe that is the solution.

What is wrong?

Is any other way to resolve the problem?

Could You help/

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Telnet to your box, then submit: /usr/bin/bbc_pmt_v5.py -t short -d /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0

Post output of script here.

Either your CAM is not running or camd.socket file is located in some other place (default is /tmp). I think someone reported having camd.socket placed somewhere else.

By the way, do all channels at 27.5W carry subtitles?

Or just some of them?

All of them. You can use the entries on lamedb that I shared some post before. Tried all of them

Doublet thanks for the info.

Ok I will follow up on this tomorrow when I'm back home and check the CAM settings. The current CAM which I use is cccam 2.3 which is working fine though for other channels.

Should the Oscam Ymode be used or will it work with our CAMs too?

There seems to be some problem with E2 web interface. Is it enabled? Is it password protected?

Submit wget -q -O - http://localhost/web/subservices and post output.

@blady74

Were you tuned to a channel on 27.5w when you ran this cmd?

/usr/bin/bbc_pmt_v5.py -t short -d /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0

You only get the expected output if you are.
