Obviously, you did not set attributes to 755.
Yes You right.
One file with 644 atrributes.
And the same situation. Only with demux0 not freezing wit output:

Sorry, I have no experience with "short mode".
Have you tried demux3 or any others perhaps?
Are you using oscam_ymod with correct keys?
Thank for Your answer.
Yes I've tried with demux0,1,2 and 3 but only with demux0 tuner not freezing (deep freezing with restart only by rear panel switch).
In demux0 output above (Error(145): read (PID 0x13ec): Connection timed out).
I am using one line key (00) consist of ONID, SID and VPID.
Regards.

Just lost BBC Four and BBC Three SD but CBBC and Cbeebies are still there so I just don't understand.
These two channels works for only a fraction of a second after zapping and then just freeze!
This is quite stange - I swear I didn't mess around with lamedb - it's just the same file as yesterday when everything was ok
Is someone else having the same issue?

I finally managed to get oscam ymod pli_18.34 running and works fine on ORF. So CAM seems to work which is also shown on BBC channels on the display of the Screen like "emu (0.201s)". Screen though remains dark.
I get the same message now like blady74 with the only difference that I have the Pid 0064.
@Robinson what are the correct keys? In my key file I currently have the "C1C" at the end of the row. Do not want to post whole key here. Is that the right one or an old key file I use? Actually I thought it is from the 15.03.2014

The connect ion timed out message is normal and can be ignored. you need a line(s) in your key file for EACH channel you wish to decrypt. You said NO freezing with demux0, so what is the problem?
Thanks for answer.
I have one line key for each channel.
With demux0 not freezing but black screen. Emu don't work. No info about ecm, etc.
Do You mean is may be key(s) problem, not an image problem?
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

@doublet, are you able to record subtiles when in short mode?
Thank you
Well, I can't.
Perhaps it is a similar issue to recording. In long mode you can't record these channels in standby and also you can't record them using timer in most cases (unless you use "timer + switch on" option and you have a separate dish for 27.5W which makes it possible to lock immediately).

Thanks Robinson. That's why I wnated to know if in short mode this is possible (to record subtitles)

It is just an idea. Unfortunately, I'm not a bash scripting expert, so maybe doublet can respond if this is feasible or not. AFAIU, the script would then need to analyze, if the box is on standby, and a recording has been started, and other than the default dvr device is in use, then it has to use the dvbsnoop -dvr command with correct device to get the needed info.

I have got it.
Problem was a key format. Needs 2 line not 1.
Great thanks for: doublet, Robinson, 007.4 and meier2k.
And.... I don't know how.... I CAN RECORDING on DM 800se WITH SUBTITLES (SD, HD) IN SHORT MODE.
I offer my support (Can send files form tuner).

Short mode is probably not a problem.
It's the long mode that presents such problems as recording subtitles.

@pecorazza
Yes, recording subtitles works in short mode.
@pryggi
The problem with recording in standby / timer recording is that there is no way how to get from E2 (via web interface) information about fact that particular service is being recorded. There is currently only information about service being watched. Script gets SID/PIDs this way and sends them to CAM.
Any hint is welcome.

Yes, currently short mode is confirmed to be working on DMM boxes only. With Robinson, we tried to make it working on Xtrend boxes but without success.
Just to remind: short mode means that PMT PID is sent to CAM to be descrambled.
Only DMM drivers can descramble PMT (section) PID. DVB standard doesn't require section descrambling.
