Both mgcamd and oscam-ymod-full-log work for most channels.
Twice in the past few days BBC News has been viewable but only with mgcamd.
BBC Red Button often requires encouragement by restarting mgcamd, then switching to BBC One HD, then back to BBC RB.

BBC News did not work with both of them.

Good tip Micky!

I selected BBC News, then restarted Enigma; it worked, but only three times in five trys.

I downgrade to Openpli 4, Kernal Version 3.1.1 and Enigma 2014-08-15. Same result as with the new Openpli. All BBC channels are working, without BBC News. What is the reason?

Micky, there are no developers working on any 27.5W issues here. Doublet was the guy who created the script but I guess noone else is even trying to make out the various tricks the satellite provider is using in their stream.

Thanks for your answer. I'm wondering because I test it with the newest Openpli and one from August 2014 too. I have make a downgrade. But BBC News did not work. The trick with mgcamd works only one time.

I'm using OpenRSi 4.1 which is based on OpenPLi and since the latest key change have the same issue as many of you of no BBC News. I have found that when I select BBC News there is sound of the newscaster for a fraction of a second and then nothing. Indeed it seems like something in the script needs to be tweeked. Unfortunately my skills haven't developed that far yet. Is anyone able to contact Doublet re this?

I am still not sure if it is a 'script' problem.

out of 5 tries at BBC News, I get 3 picture only and 2 sound only!

by the way has radio 3 gone also?

Oh, only so few tries? I think I make 40 tries. One time it works. But I don't know why. Which version of cam did you use?

Try selecting BBC News then do a manual scan for 907 and then select the BBC News channel from the discovered list.  Works quite well for me in that the channel appears 1 out of 2-3 times and is quicker than a reboot.

Hi all. I have a TM-Nano2 Super and TM-5402 m3 (None Linux) and it's just a case loading a Patch and entering the correct B*ss code. Perfect picture and sound on all at 27.5w. To get round the BBC News problem (pli 3 with 4D) what i did was go in to softcam manager and set auto change camd. I set BBC News to auto change from default to mgcamd. Picture and sound every time. It seams like something triggers when it changes. Much quicker than reboot. Hope this helps. Could probably set it to same default cam if needed and it would just restart the cam (Trigger). Will check later.

Thanks.

I think it is easier with TM-5402 M3 as with Vu+Solo.

Yes, I have the same configuration for BBC News as you wrote. But no success. Only in a very few cases.

The TM-5402m3 is 10 min setup start to finish but the TM-Nano2 Super is Linux e2 4D and very similar to VU (Pain in the but).

Micky I think he meant butt with double-t. It's as if he's refering to the discomfort of hemorrhoids.
