pecorazza

there must be broadcasting on this channel, with this setting i can see subtitles on both

Sorry, mate but it is bullshit.

In this way, you are simply receiving subtitles of Film4+1.

If you edit your lamedb you can get subtitles from any channel but what is the point?

Is anyone using a Vu Solo and having audio problems with the HD channels (in that they are very quiet when compared to the SD channels)?

I can't figure out if it is the Vu Solo / Vu Zero or VIX.  The IceCrypt 1600 has SD and HD audio at the same levels, so I know that it is possible but I can't get this to happen on either of my Vu boxes

Thanks

I am using ET9000 with OpenPLi and it is the same. HD sound is very quiet compared to SD channels so it does not seem to be box- or image-specific.

I use a VU+ SOLO. HD sound is much quieter then the SD sound.

OK, that's a clue so not box or image specific but the IceCrypt S1600CHD has the sound balanced across SD and HD channels and the only common thing between all of the folks who repsonded to this post is that we are using E2.

Is there anyone out there who can point me in the right direction regarding changing sound levels?

Thanks

Hi guys..

Still trying to get this working, feels like I'm just banging my head against the wall.  Sunray V2, running openPLI4.  MGCAMD 1.38 installed and working with what I think is the correct keys.  Dish alligned with workable power figures.  I'm trrying to run the short script, and I've tried demuxes 0 through 4.  All that seems to happen is the sunray locks up and needs power cycling.  Does anyone have any ideas, or solved a similar problem?  Thanks in advance...

Hi all!

I have a strange problem here. Everything worked perfectly well (solo2 ymod1856) and then, after making some changes (but I don't really remember which ones  :( ) here's what happens:

• the channel is decoded properly BUT when  switching to another channel I get a black screen...

•I have to restart ymod oscam to get this channel decoded, BUT if I switch again: black screen again

•Well, If I change the pmt_mode ( dvbapi section of the oscam conf file) 0, 2, 3,4...: nearly any number seems to work, then I can switch to any channel... it works great BUT it just works until next reboot of the box. and then, back to the same behavior...

I wonder whether some of you know this problem...

Well, I think I have found something... After this thread:

http://www.streamboa...htuser=0&page=3

there seem to be a solution by adding this line in dvbapi section of oscam conf: reopenonzap = 1

and maybe decodeforever =1 (see the posts of dudule22 and gorgone at the end of the page. Thanks to them!)

It works for me at the moment... Hope it will last!!!

Or replace ymod by oscam. Oscam dvbapi has recently improved the CA handling so VU+ devices wont run into this kind of trouble.

@ theparasol

I read with interest your 24th January post.

So I configured my oscam the way you said: the A lines, the const reader, the constcw file (same Kz as my working ymod)

I had a log similar to yours with the "fake" channel BVN.tv on astra 1, showing that the const reader was working properly.

Unfortunately, no luck on 27.5W channels. Empty log.

As my box is VU+ Solo2, could it be  because of the lamedb (modified version and long mode script)?

I think you cant use pmtmode 6 (default config in feed) but have to use pmtmode 0

Yes! It works this way! Thanks very much!

Interesting to use the "normal" oscam for all your needs, and to be able to upgrade to newer versions...

Follow up: No, after more tries, it finally doesn't work with oscam_ymod. As andres66 put it the ymod version is adapted from older version of oscam, and doesn't support newer changes...

I should have tested this more thoroughly before posting... Sorry for that.

And thanks to andres66 for being so helpful, as usual...

I think I might have fixed the volume level difference on my Vu Zero. I using Vix Apollo 152 and when I pressed the Audio button on the RCU I noticed that the Auto Volume Level was set to OFF, by setting it to HDMI the sound level for the HD channels was increased so problem solved.  I don't know where this option might be found on other Enigma2 variants but it might be worth digging around to see what could be done.
