I have an ultimo 4k with OpenATV 6.2.  Decoding BBC channels works, but HD channels have no sound. What could be the reason? (Previously it was good with stream relay and OpenATV 6.0.)

The lamedb file was bad.

This thread seems it will never die :)

I've had 27.5w running fine for years. I now made a software update on my vuduo2 openpli4 after not having done so for over year, probably 1.5 years ago. And 27.5w stopped working...

Going back to old backup makes it work again and I have tried moving old lamedb (deleted lamedb5 in current install), old dvbsnoop, old oscam-config etc etc. Nothing makes it kick in again.

Log (BBC One HD):

capmtType: long, demux: /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0
currentSid: 0x4484
trying with demux /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0
Error(145): read (PID 0x0000): Connection timed out
currentSid: 0x4484
trying with demux /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0
Error(145): read (PID 0x0000): Connection timed out
I have narrowed it down to the timeout being in the os.popen-line in the script below, the dvbsnoop command

	# check SID
	print "trying with demux %s" % demux
	pipe = os.popen("dvbsnoop -timeout %d -nph -pd 3 -n 1 -demux %s 0x0 | grep -A 1 %s | grep Program_map_PID" % (timeout,demux,currentSid))
	m = re.search(r"\((\w+)\)", pipe.readline())
	if not m:
		oldSid = "0x" # try to get PAT again in next iteration of main loop
		continue
What can have changed in openpli to make it stop working?

What is your box?

"A" entries in oscam.dvbapi?

Softcam keys?

What does oscam log say?

By the way, if you are using a genuine OpenPLi image, you do not need doublet's script any more, at least on PLi 6 but PLi 4 probably the same.

I was not aware the scripts aren't needed in PLi6. I had updated my other box, will probably have a go at this as well then when I get the time. The scripts were one reason an upgrade would be somewhat of a bother and made me wait. :)

Upgrading to 6.1 made the trick. No scripts, no dvbsnoop (atleast manually installed) needed. Must have been scripts conflicting with never PLI-versions.

So, do we have to do anything at all except for having right keys on 6.1 to get the channels on 27.5W?

Can you watch one channel and at the same time record a different onefrom 27.5W?

I can watch one and stream another, so should work.

It would not be possible with the script itself.
