Good day,
I have a Zgemma H7S satellite receiver with an OpenATV 6.4 image. I can't break the BBC. I have an SNR of about 78%. I proceeded by copying the attributes 755 to usr / bin bbc_pmt_starter.sh, bbc_pmt_v6.py, enigma2_pre_start.sh, and then I created the systemd folder in the etc folder and the system and the bbc.service file in it. Then I wrote the command systemclt enable bbc.service result bash not found. I also wrote video pid and audio pid and extra parameters to BBC channels via DreamboxEDIT. And there was already a bitrate and an audio track, but still a black screen. Thank you in advance for your advice.

Found it! I was using the lamedb entries indicated by this post, thinking that it was up to date (the message is from this year) but it's not

The correct lamedb entries are here, with the c:16xxxx fields and the f:400 flags. Now vlc, mplayer and the enigma2 plugin for kodi are happy :D

I'm struggling to stream the BBC channels over my LAN. It doesnt work on VLC, nor sharing bouquets with another vu+. I thought I had the wrong lamedb, but I have used the details of these one (which not long ago @tiru confirms to work for streaming) but didn't work.

Any idea?

Something strange is happening here. I have used these values with my VU+Zero 4k (OpenATV 6.4) and it works in the box. But when I stream locally (in the LAN) it works the first time. Any idea? Could it be something related to the box that it has no power to stream over the LAN such a "special" channels?

I have a Dreambox DM800se, and it happens to me too. I think it some kind of DRM protection. When you record some program it only can be played in the device which recorded the program. If you try to play in other device, it is not possible. This happens when you try to see the programs via LAN in other device. I think the file that associate the recording with the recording device is epg.dat. If you erase this file, you can't play the recorded program. I don't know how to open the recordings to other devices, because I can tune some channels from 28.2E UK beam. I hope this information can help you.

Man, thanks for the answer... I thought I was going mad thinking I was the only one strugling with streaming/recording. What I don't understand, is why there are people not having any trouble. I mean, if it was something as DRM protection, we all had problems, but it doesn't seem so. Maybe a matter of firmware? Enigma2 box type? I

hi all,

i have an issue with BBC THREE HD.  It has just disappeared some time ago.

I haven’t changed anything.

BBC Three SD, CBBC HD (which shares the slot/Time share) and all other 27.5W channels and radios are just fine.

Oscam finds the key but there is no audio or video (there is audio and video when CBBC HD is on air)

dvbapiau (2600@000000/0000/4600/15:AE7BCCC0E1648CE4CAD6C9C7D87D88F5): found (2 ms) by emulator - BBC Three HD

Am i missing something?

I have the same issue here, noticed this started around the date when the Queen died.
CBBC HD which is on earlier on this channel works fine, but by the time Three HD takes over everything is black.

The SD Version of BBC Three works as usual and no issues.

Quick update on my struggling to "stream" the BBC signal.

My first goal was to watch BBC channels in the cityhouse house where I'm not able to install a dish pointed to Intelsat. So I have pointed a dish in the countryside house, place a vu+zero4k and receive there the BBC satback package. Right after, I have configured a wireguard tunnel between countryside house and city house so both LANs are connected. Finally, using the "remote tuner" option offered by enigma2, I have configured the remote tuner of the vu+zero4k in the city house enigma2 box (vu+uno4kse) using the local IP of the vu+zero. It works like a charm. After every reboot it updates the bouquet list in the destination receiver and shows image flawless.

However, when trying to stream over the LAN using VLC or vuplustv app for ios, it doesn't work. Nor the original box receiving the signal in the vu+zero, nor trying to re-broadcast the already IPTV signal in the vu+uno4k at the city house. It simply doesn't work. BUT, as explained, remote tuner works. Does it mean DRM protection is worked around using remote tuner?

PIDs 7001 7002 which carry CBBC HD and BBC THREE HD now dissapear at nights from Transponder, so that's why BBC THREE HD is black.....

Enigma is getting old....

In my experience, if other channels in remote streaming work, it means that the problem is restricted to BBC.
So what can the problem be?

It can also be due to Codecs in the device you are using to watch the channels.

For me, VLC under Linux (or Android, which is similar) does not work with BBC whatever I tried.

Under Windows it is a bit hit and miss, but usually works. I ho not know how to configure correctly. I only know that even installing bazillions of independent codecs, when it does not work, it does not work.

I then tried MPV and it works as a charm under all OSes. Nice bare (just at the surface, more complicated and configurable under the hood) but efficient multiplatform viewer.

Just the result of my experience and an advice to overcome this problem.

Saved my life, in you same situation.

Exactly as you said, mpv works like a charm. Then this problem is a matter of codecs... but weird enough that VLC nor vuplus app for iOS wont be able to work it out.

I`m trying PMT script v6 on Octagon 8008 on Open PLi 8.3, but unfortunately what I get is only an error message as follows

=== starting bbc_pmt_v6.py -t short -d /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0
capmtType: short, demux: /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0
wget: can't connect to remote host (127.0.0.1): Connection refused

Do you have any idea guys where the problem may be and how to solve it, please? It should be so simple, but somehow it is not...

I thought the script is not needed anymore since openpli has injected the needed files into the software.
Have you checked softcam, lamedb entries, etc.?
