@Dima73, thanks for the update all seems to be ok now as far as I can see. Although Long press record does nothing here.

Yes, this is possible.
I forgot one thing.
I had changed /usr/
share/enigma2/keymap.xml

	<map context="InfobarInstantRecord">
		<key id="KEY_RECORD" mapto="instantRecord" flags="b"/>
		<device name="dreambox remote control (native)">
			<key id="KEY_RED" mapto="instantRecord" flags="m"/>
		</device>
	</map>

flags="b"

It is a pity that I forgot about it.
One would not write code for it.

I'm using OpenPLi on SH4 architecture, not MIPSEL for which the plugin is directed to. The plugin itself is available as a source, so it will be compiled in my box when enigma starts. But what about the binary files: createapscfiles and eitsave.so? Where can I find binaries for SH4?

John74... are you using ATS plugin.... then switch to PTS or ask the author of ATS plugin to adapt.... (or someone else should adapt the ipk package when the sources are included).

Hello littlesat, Meega and and Dima73.

@ Meega: Yes, I always perform a reboot after any install.

@ Dima73: the installation of the file "enigma2-plugin-extensions-permanenttimeshift_1.3f_mipsel.ipk" was efficient. My timeshift problem is gone. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Thanks for this update

I want to ask for one refinement.

When I'm watching an channel and I want to save the part I just saw and continue watching the channel

I have to activate "Timeshift save recording (stop after current event)" to save the current event,

Then I must change the channel to end the event and start the save

Then I must confirm to execute the save

Then I have to switch back to the channel to continue watching

Is it possible to add one option in the record menu:

"Save current time-shift event and start new one".

no further confirmation required.

The current event is saved without changing the channel.
Or have I misunderstood?

I know that the recording stops at a changing event, but not all channels have a good working EPG.

I want to to save the timeshift on the moment I choose and not have to wait for an event change.

Now understand, but ...
This will disturb the whole idea of plugin PTS.
I'll see what I can do.
But no promises.

Long red is ok on my 8000.

Can you please explain "Start timeshift for http stream", I have a bouquet of http streams but they won't timeshift

What is the criteria for that to work ?

and thanks for your continued work on this.
