Guys, could you post more OpenPLi logo? I have found some bootlogos at the internet. You used to have some interesting bootlogos from Dreambox images. I would appreciate if you could post some more bootlogos.

maybe not to the point. Does OpenPLi support bootvideo or only bootlogo? If I support bootvideo, what format?

The "bootlogo" is an mvi, which is a video. Currently, it contains only a single frame, which is why it looks like an image.

mvi is not very convertible eg from mp4 or other to mvi. Is there any converter from mp4 or other video format to mvi? I searched but did not find it. So you can insert more video frames than just one in an mvi?

I just tried with a 5 second mp4, but only the first frame is shown. Ymmv.

You can't just use any format, it needs to be a specific format, we use a long ffmpeg line to generate it (I think @erikslagter created it).

We generate the bootlogo from jpg like so:

  -aspect 16/9 -an -vcodec libx264 -profile:v high -preset veryslow -subq 11 \

  -top 1 -flags +ildct -f h264 "$outputfile"

( I removed the text overlay generation )

Maybe it will be useful to someone due to the current color of the bootlogo. I am also attaching the mp4 animation. Maybe someone can install it and maybe the format needs to be changed.
