Hi. everyone.

 

I am very new to all this satellite world. I ended up in this forum because of this skin. 

I am a designer and this is IMHO the best skin I've seen yet.

 

However... I have one (well...two in fact) problem: I own two DM800HD clones with the old sim 1.0.

 

So...I've made my #1 life objective at this moment to update my boxes to 'something' that is able to run this skin. 

I know that the only Openpli I can run in them is 1.0 but my question is: if I update my boxes I can get to run Openpli 2.1. Is there any way I can run this skin on 2.1?

The only problems are additional converters which may not be compatible with 2.1. Someone should test it.

 

And btw here is new version. Some small errors are fixed + CoolTVGuide screens are redesigned, again. Redesign is not mine, I took it from user Binicknich.

why can i not see any picons with the last version of your mod? have the picons in this path /media/usb/XPicons/picon.

I do not use xpicons. Use regular picon folder. I will release new version with small fixes tomorrow.

Here is version with fixed Setup screen and I replaced one .pyc file with opensource one. I think skin is now mature enough to be put on feed.

those having problems with their receiver not booting after installing this skin (i have had the same problem) i went back to an older backup image that i know the skin works on, and spent a few days trying to work out why it worked on that, but not on any other images.

 

i now have it working, not too sure why this works, a missing font file maybe?, but ive tried it a few times

 

first install the PLi-HD skin, or a modified version of it, then install this skin, and itll work

Is it possible to change the location of the timeshift infobar? As it is now, it is displayed at about 1/4th to 1/3rd of the screen from the top, so frequently over the faces of people for example

Also, when the second infobar is activated, the timeshift infobar overlaps with text in the second infobar. 

 

I'm not sure where else to put it though.... Maybe as a small ribon at the upper edge of the screen (like the main infobar, but at the top), or maybe displayed as an "extension", above to the main infobar, but still attached to it, to keep the stylish look I so adore about your skin

 

Or could I change this myself? (I'm ok with tweaking config files, but I'm not into recompiling stuff)

Weather bar could be added but because it is limited to only a few countries, I wont add it.

I test this skin and it's awesome, before this skin I always use DM Conicity, and the only thing that is missing is the weather. If you can add this feature to the info bar of this skin I thank you. Thanks.

so how do i install it. i ftp it to tmp and installed it but still showing same skin.

i am now using mymetrix 4.0

really like this skin i think its the n1 powerfull and high quallity skin
