Hello, I too vote for this modification!   It's decent but still very useful. Though I don't need the frequency and FEC info in the Infobar and the card reader info is also not very importatnt to me.

I don't know if I should post this here or in a Cool TV Guide topic, but I have been having small issues with your skin & Cool TV Guide. 

 

The font color of event names in the TV Guide is white, but the "highlighted row" background color is also white, so you can't read the event names in the highlighted row. Also the colored buttons (zap, timer, guideswitch & coolsearch) are not visible.

Probably I'm the only one who has this issue, because I haven't seen a report in this forum, but for what it's worth, I have fixed it like this: 

 

In /usr/share/enigma2/MetrixHD_MOD/skin.xml:

- replace all references for "MetrixHD_MOD2" to "MetrixHD_MOD". For example, there are lines like this 

<ePixmap pixmap="MetrixHD_MOD2/buttons/red.png" position="70,660" size="30,40" alphatest="blend" />

Obviously that path is wrong. This fixes the missing buttons.

 

- For the "screens" CoolMultiGuide, CoolNiceGuide, CoolTinyGuide & CoolTVGuide there is an XML tag "list". Change the values for CoolFontColSel & CoolNowFontColSel from "unffffff" to "black".

 

(Disclaimer: I am no expert and there may be a better way to fix it...  )

Hi Taykun345,

it's for OpenPLi-4.0-beta-et7x00-20150302, but I can flash a newer image, it's not an isuse.

And like ROP posted, if there are complications with adding all those items to the infobar, skip some of them. I've realised that it's maybe too much items/text on one single (bottom) line so either font would probably be too small to fit or it could overlap to picon zone.

Well those were probably not modifitaions but earlier versions of your mod, I'm not sure.

 

Unfortunately I can't find that screenshot of SIXX HD with two girls (the infobar modifications), sorry. Some images from older posts on this thread seems to be missing for me.

I have this version installed:

enigma2-plugin-skins-metrixhd-wpstyle-mod-pli_3.1a_all.ipk

I did not install older versions of your mod. I was afraid to have non-working system.

Openpli 4 - Kernel 3.2 Enigma 2014-08-10

Cable tuner - VM UK

HDD fixed mount to //media/hdd

 

For the life of me I cannot get picons appearing in either the infobar of the EPG

 

I have tried loading picon packs from the plugin feed (e.g. snp.220x132.transparent-white-nopadding)

and FTP'ing a set of picons to //media/hdd

 

Without success

 

Am I missing a trick here where I need to configure my image to use Service Descriptions / channel names to identify Picons?

 

Please help - have tried everything

Even installed this skin (which is native to OpenATV images) on an ancient DM800HD-PVR with Cable tuner. Firmware is OpenATV 3.0 (no longer supported) and even there it works fine... As Hemertje states: no support for clones. Clone 'OpenPli 4.0' versions are patched versions which may lead to very unexpected effects or errors..

I tried many themes but only this one have this behavior. I installed different versions, different plugins and it's always a little to big for my screen. My tv is OK fullhd and so on, that's really theme related. It 's the same behavior as if I enable OpenPli-FULL-HD theme. I found some other people asking for that but no body seems to get an answer / solution. Thanks for your advice I really would like to be able to use these amazing theme.

Well it seems corrected.... :-) I was able to solve it by changing TV parameters for the screen.
