A question. How can i edit and improve german translation? Must i only edit the de.po per notepad++ or is there something further? If theres is some translation missing, is there only to put the text into file? For e.g.

msgid "label series"
msgstr "Serie umbenennen"

or

msgid "save and search now"
msgstr "Speichern und suchen"

Hu. Very strange. I use the latest update from feed, so can i be sure that the translation is also up to date?

Do i have to update the de.po only by using the message id from the pot file?

Hello Friends,

 

i have a feature request for the Autotimer Plugin. Is it possible to consolidate two or more timers when the recordings starts one after one? For example, the first recording starts at 5:45, the next at 6:30 at the same channel and a third at 7:15. By default there are three recordings and i want one recording for all, which starts at 5:45 and ends at 8:00. A simple time extension is not posible, but it can be on some days only one or on other two recordings.

If implemented, it should no happen automatically. In most cases, it is not desired behavior.

The only drawback is that cw's are fetched twice, which might bother your card, but any softcam should detect that and fetch them from their cache.

I can see that sometimes it's handy.

 

For example last week with the F1, you have three different EPG events (preview before the race, the race, commentary after the race) that could be consolidated into one.

 

But if I look at my own recordings, that's the only use-case I can come up with. For others it would be a pain, for example multiple episodes in a series, there you DO want as separate recordings.

If this s switchable, it is possible to sepatate the Recordings for episodes from series or it can consolidate some recordings. I have an event on ZDF Kultur. Some Day there is on and some Days there are two or three episodes.

I assume that if that would be an issue, that means they are significantly different programs, so you would not want to consolidate them?

 

In my F1 use-case, it doesn't really matter that there's only one eit file. You would have the same if you would only record the first one, and added 3 hours to it manually to also record the rest (the manual consolidation option ).

 

It is another reason why you wouldn't want consolidation by default though.

The EPG information doesn't interest me in that case. It is for all events the same.
