Hi!

Recently I've changed skin in one of my boxes, now I have dm800 with openpli2.1 in endless reboot loop (f*cked up skin).
This box has many files I need. Is there any way to change skin ? Maybe dump flash in flash upgrade mode and edit it?
Maybe it's possible to break startup sequence using remote? It's really important to me..., please help

Regards
Dumb

i've tried both wifi and lan connections, it looks like reboot loop is before network connectivity is started... any other suggestions please?

Re-flash it, and don't install that skin again. That's by far the easiest method.

I' not an expert, but I think it would be quite unusual for a skin to be causing a complete reboot. Usually it's just Enigma2 respawning continually. When trying to connect over the wired LAN, make sure that dhcp is running on the router, and hopefully DHCP was activated on the box. Scan your network or look into the router webif to see what address the DB picked up. If you didn't have dhcp activated or the ethernet port configured statically, sorry...

Ps. Putting the box into stop mode like you were going to flash should show you the IP the DB is pulling, if it is pulling...

PPs. If the files on the DB are desperately needed (besides learning to make backups), it might be worthwhile to learn how to boot the DB from either USB or the network. That would allow you to start up the DB, mount the flash and remove the problem skin and/or retrieve your files...

Reboot before udhcpd means either flash filesystem corrupt or kernel/driver problem or hardware problem. Bad skin can't have those effects.

What drives must be installed in the image of OpenPli to use the usb wifi adapter with RT5370 chipset in this picture .... Well tried downloading drives and still can not need a rescue.
And my dream is a clone ssl82 SIM2.01.

Now it seems to be a clone box.... so here stops our support....

As likely the newer DMM drivers do detect you're using a clone - causing what you do experience....
