What is the best way to test this mod? Shall I uninstall the original EPGimport first and then install this one?

Or is it possible just to replace the original file?

Now you can only add tv channels to zap through with blue button
This is directly the zap list of the plugin

Like channel 1-2-3-4

There is no option to re-arrange the zap list like 1-3-4-2

on the Glassfibre 1GB DVB-C...

Possible new ideas for this mod:

1) Sky UK OpenTV as embedded in CrossEPG - http://forums.openpl...oss-epg-opentv/

2) An option to delete EPG just before a new import - http://forums.openpl...nt-shortcoming/

;)

1)simply use CrossEPG

2) It is virtually impossible to make if use plugin.

Thanks Dima73,

Why not improving the default EPG import plugin whith your usefull mods?

And more generally (applies to default plugin and your mod),

Why does the EPG import package is called xmltvimport while the plugin is called EPGImport???

Exactly! If there are no bugs, why not use this mod as an OpenPLi standard?

Is the name of the plugin.

My mistake. Yours is called epgimport. The one in the feeds is called xmltvimport and epgimport in the plugin after installation.

Well, I appreciate anyone's effort and Dima's is no exception! :) Thanx, m8!!! ;)

However, I had problems with his mods before (earlier versions) in PBNIGMA. Is the new one really without any issues?

Because, then we should really consider this as a successor to the original one and perhaps it should be renamed accordingly?

Can you add an option to configure EPG saving location?

On my 800HDse i save to USB by adding to the settings file in /etc/enigma2:

config.misc.epgcache_filename=/media/usb/epg.dat
