Did I understand correctly that there will be an update of the XMLTVimport aka EPGimport extension ?

The change is in Enigma2 itself (the EPG storage), I've started some groundwork on that, but it'll take a while to finish.

Ik ben naar die http:// .... gegaan maar dat is voor mij (een simple, domme) gebruiker chinees hoor.

This is all hobby there is no time table so things come as it goes. Sometimes it can be done quickly another time it takes a while.

But look at the bright side. There is already work in progress and I believe with Milo's skilled coding and commitment you should just have some patience and things will start to work better than ever before.

Once the slow bits and pieces part is done he will sure drop a celebration message on the forum that isnt chinese to you

I think that nobody actually reads the questions carefully before to answer them.

 

My question was :

 

How will I know if it is done ?

I was not asking for a date of availability !

I was not trying to hurry things up or to put pressure on anybody !

 

And guess what : my question was still not answered.

Instead, everybody is telling me that I have to patient, that it is a hobby of those who are going to do it, etc etc etc

 

That said, I do not need an answer anymore.

The reply Theparasol gave is the right answer to your question.

Milo said it is in Enigma2 ,so it will not be a plugin.

 

All improvements that are done in Enigma2 , are read on that site.

It's not always understandable for us ,users.

But it's there.

Every typo is there.

So try to read it.

 

And after that is done ,there are some questions following up on that improvement on the forum.

So you will know when it's done ,when it's done!
