When you do a large zapping in the future on a day were there is no EPG at all or so.... You cannot navigate anymore... and you do also not see the current day you select...
So there must something be done when nothing can be selected...

Also in the list mode there is no indication of the current selected day... possibly we need to find something so we're able to present the current selected day.(e.g. do this on the right site instead on the left were it was...)

I just tested that. I can still navigate. Did you try this after yesterday's updates?

and you do also not see the current day you select...
So there must something be done when nothing can be selected...

Then again, if there are no events to be selected, what purpose does it serve to know the day?

Also in the list mode there is no indication of the current selected day... possibly we need to find something so we're able to present the current selected day.(e.g. do this on the right site instead on the left were it was...)

True. I solved this in the PLi-Scale-HD skin.

3. And also solved in PLi-HD skin in between :D

Yes, well, granted. But if there are no events, what possible actions could you take which are based on the fact where you are in the GMEPG?

sorry, the first thing I retried is not working. Rest will follow.

enter "current event epg"
press yellow for single epg
press > right beside the 0
press red for zap
the previous channel name is shown.

At this point it drops to fullscreen viewing on my box. Am I doing something wrong/different?

the previous channel name is shown.

Or did you press something again after going fullscreen to go back to the screen you took the snapshot from?

Well, that seems to work though. When in the Single Channel EPG, and I press >, it shows the information for the next channel without zapping. But when I press Red then, it zaps to the new channel and drops to full-screen viewing, so It is unclear to me when the screenshot was taken then.

after red=zap it is not going to fullscreen, it is going to the attached screen in my post above.

try to enter the sequence with "long i" and then "current event epg"

and then continue:

press yellow for single epg
press > right beside the 0
press red for zap
the previous channel name is shown.

That is logic.... As it zaps and goes one step back...

Ok, I see what you mean now. Yes, this behaviour didn't change from before. It jumps back to the EPG info on the previous screen.

"It jumps back to the EPG info on the previous screen."

not really consistent, the part under the live picture comes from the previous channel. (see picture on previous post) Everything else from the current channel. (text on the right, the "next:" info, the title)

Thank you for wrapped option. :)
i've got a question about the "alignment of service names" Attached is a picture with option centered. It does not really use the whole space in the column? Is this expected? Also check the "left" attachment.

That is logical that it jumps back to the GMEPG as this is the parent....

In the PLi-Scale-HD skin this all has been fixed. It's a skin issue. The information accessible at the EventView screen was spotty and misleading, and therefore it was/is easy for a skin (any skin) to display the wrong information. My recent patches from last Thursday fix this, but, alas in a backward compatible way. Meaning that existing (all) skins will still display the wrong information like before; new (adapted) skins are able to make use of new information which will enable you to display the correct information at all times.

wanted to test the PLi-Scale-HD Skin - can't find it. Google only finds this thread... and in the plugin download menu I can't find it either. Where can I get it?

In the forum-skin section, look for the "how to skin a cat" thread. But, the skin will most likely become available in the feed within the next 7 days.

ok, so I will wait. I guess my other question above is also a question of skin:

"i've got a question about the "alignment of service names" Attached is a picture with option centered. It does not really use the whole space in the column? Is this expected? Also check the "left" attachment."

just tested the PLi-Scale-HD Skin. indeed it is a skin issue with Pli-HD Skin (Wrong channel name after zap, see above).

I also retried the other issue:

"Thank you for wrapped option. :)
i've got a question about the "alignment of service names" Attached is a picture with option centered. It does not really use the whole space in the column? Is this expected? Also check the "left" attachment."

with the following result:

Left service name alignment is also with the PLi Scale HD Skin not really left, see attachement. (same for centered, not really centered)

That it is nog going fully to the left and right is intended... To allow some space at the left and the right. This makes it more readable.
