Some programs like e.g. the BBCplayer and sometimes "uitzending gemist" refuse to play content as they see your country is not the intended one. It would be nice to have a plugin
in which you could select a "country of origin" and then start the plugin which objected to your real country now thinking it is serving another one.

I think it should be possible by using an appropriate proxy (based on the country you want to seem operating from) from http://www.hidemyass.com/proxy-list/Only way is to use a transparent proxy or VPN as your internet connection.
Then the 'country of origin' will be the determined by the IP address of the proxy or VPN server.
I now how to do this under linux when browsing the web but I don't know how to do it om my XTrend9500 with openpli3
maybe someone here has figured it out?

jean
