Is there any archive for downloading an PLI image for ET9000 ( before 2012/04/16 ) ?
have friend of mine with no booting ET 9000 box.
Have red on Xtrend forum , that sometimes it helps to flash and old version of PLI ?!

Connect a console cable to it, and see why it doesn't boot.
Mine for example refuses to boot since about 6 weeks when there's a USB stick in the back. Which has been there since the day it arrived. I pull it out, start the box, and as soon as it says "booting..." I can put it back.
I haven't had time yet to find a laptop with a serial interface and look at the console log myself...

How do I go about it?Connect a console cable to it, and see why it doesn't boot.
I connect the RS232 cable, turn on ET9000 and then what? Do I use Hyperterminal to see what happens?
Or is there any other software required?
ET9000, OpenPLi 4.0, 13E, 19E

Hyperterminal should work fine. Port settings are 115K2-8-N-1.

But probably your box need a frontprocessor upgrade or so.... Then can be installed with a proper file in an USB stick.
