Hi,

i bought a new ET4000 and it does not correctly work with AC3 optical audio
on the latest OpenPLi image.
On many Channels AC3 is disturbed and i have to switch on AC3/DTS downmix.
With older Kernels/Images it seems to work properly.
Is there anybody working on it or should i return the ET4000 to seller?
It looks like a driver problem...

thx in advance

Hi,

the only image with properly working AC3 Spdif audio is
"ET4000 openAAF 2.0 nightly image 10.10.2012"

Kernel: 3.4.3
Drivers: 2012-09-14
Image: Release
Version:2.0
Build:4

I did't find any OpenPli image with Kernel 3.4.3.
OpenPLi would be my favorite image, if audio would work on 5.1...

Now i have found an old image OpenPLi 3.0

Kernel: 3.4.3
Enigma: 2012-10-09

AC3 is working fine with it, too.

Don't know why the new Kernel doesn't work...
