Hi,

This is something I have been observing for a long time.
It concerns all the Polish Eurosport (1/2, SD, HD) channels:
1_0_1_3318_190_13E_820000_0_0_0
1_0_1_3B63_12C_13E_820000_0_0_0
1_0_1_360A_C8_13E_820000_0_0_0
1_0_1_3636_C8_13E_820000_0_0_0
There are very often multiple entries for the same event shifted by 1 minute or several minutes.
If you look at the attachment you will see as many as 6 double entries just on one EPG page.
Where does it come from? Is it because website schedule is updated daily with slightly shifted times and previous day's entries are not deleted?
Is there any way to deal with that?

This does not happen on any of Sky UK Eurosport channels:
1_0_19_EDC_7D8_2_11A0000_0_0_0
1_0_19_FA9_7EF_2_11A0000_0_0_0
1_0_1_3636_C8_13E_820000_0_0_0
1_0_1_1391_7E7_2_11A0000_0_0_0:

However, there is a very interesting case for Eurosport channels on Sky Germany.
There are no multiple entries on Eurosport HD: 1_0_19_84_6_85_C00000_0_0_0.
But there are multiple entries for Eurosport SD and Eurosport 2:
1_0_1_79E0_443_1_C00000_0_0_0
1_0_1_37_F_85_C00000_0_0_0

Do you think you can try and remedy this at least for the Polish package? Maybe German too?

The eurosport schedule cmes from eurosport itself.
And the schedule is daily renewed.

Now if the schedule is changed (even only 1 minute) the new schedule is added to the schedule already in the box. And it does not erase the old schedule. Result: a double schedule.
By the way, the double schedule is not present in the XMLTV file.

So if you want to check this, erase all epg in your box and reimport (if you use crossepg also delete the crossepg database). Now you will observe no doubles.

Another thing could be of course that a schedule is imported from different sources. f.i. a polish and a German one. But in the examples given only polish doubles are present.

I suspect that there is an over-anxious web-designer at work for the polish eurosport pages, who corrects even program changes of 1 minute. We all want correct schedules but correcting schedules for 1 or 2 minutes is a bit over the top.

OK, but how do you explain the case of German Eurosport HD/SD?
There are no multiple entries on Eurosport HD: 1_0_19_84_6_85_C00000_0_0_0.
But there are multiple entries for Eurosport SD: 1_0_1_79E0_443_1_C00000_0_0_0
Do you grab these two from different sites?

Would it be possiblke to grab Polish Eurosport channels from an independent website instead of Eurosport-based if that would prevent double entries?
I'm not sure double entries are welcome by Polish users.

1:0:1:79e0:443:1:c00000:0:0:0:

1:0:1:0084:0006:0085:00c00000:0:0:0:

Different grab, from a different website. Eurosport 1 and Eurosport HD for specific countries do not always have the same schedule. Because the HD version are shared between different countries. I believe in Germany this is the case.

I could of course grab the schedule from other websites. But found out that the official eurosport website is the better one to use, although this has the problem with the double entries.

One candidate would be: http://en.timefor.tv...0986/2013-02-18
which has many different countries covered.

Maybe it is not such a bad website but please note time difference.
On the other hand, the listing on Eurosport website may be more accurate although shifting events by 1 minute or a couple of minutes from day to day does get on my nerves.

Forgot to mention: the timefor website is in UK time. No problem.

The double entries gets on every-bodies nerves.
Will change the grabbing for the polish packages now. Let's see if this improves things.
