Dear forum members,

I have a problem installing a good torrent client on my DM800HD.
cTorrent works fine, only i cannot use magnet links (and it has no webGUI, which is no problem, except for the no magnet links part.

I tried installing "opkg install transmission" and added my IP to the whitelist. But when i connect to my.ip:9091 nothing shows.
I also tried rTorrent, but with that package i get the following error:

ldconfig: Can't open configuration file /etc/ld.so.conf: No such file or directory
Collected errors:
* satisfy_dependencies_for: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for libtorrent11:
* libcrypto0.9.7 (>= 0.9.7g) *
* opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package libtorrent11.
* satisfy_dependencies_for: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for rtorrent-webui:
* libcrypto0.9.7 (>= 0.9.7g) *
* opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package rtorrent-webui.

I am using the following package: rtorrent_0.8.6-r0_mipsel. I tried ln -s /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.8 /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.7 but it doesn't work.

Could someone please help me ou with a good torrent client and/or how to install transmisson or rTorrent?

Thanks in advance!

Are you doing something strange like running in multiboot?

Transmission installed fine here in dm800...

opkg install transmission
Package enigma2-plugin-extensions-scroll-lcd-text version 0.3-beta has no valid architecture, ignoring.
Installing transmission (2.13-r0) to root...
Downloading http://downloads.pli...-r0_mipsel.ipk.
libcurl4: unsatisfied recommendation for curl-certs
Installing libcurl4 (7.21.2-r5.0) to root...
Downloading http://downloads.pli...5.0_mipsel.ipk.
Installing libevent (1.4.14b-stable-r1) to root...
Downloading http://downloads.pli...-r1_mipsel.ipk.
Configuring libevent.
Configuring libcurl4.
Configuring transmission.
Adding system startup for /etc/init.d/transmission.
Starting transmission-daemon

I am not running in multiboot. I can correctly install transmission:

root@dm800:/# opkg install transmission
Package enigma2-plugin-extensions-scroll-lcd-text version 0.3-beta has no valid architecture, ignoring.
Package transmission (2.13-r0) installed in root is up to date.

But when i do /etc/init.d/transmission start, the daemon starts correctly:

root@dm800:/# /etc/init.d/transmission start
Starting transmission-daemon

But when i go to my.ip:9091 nothing happens, the browsers just keeps loading and eventually i get an time-out error.

My bad, I thought the install errors posted above were for transmission, rereading I see they were for rTorrent.

When editing transmission's settings.json and then restarting transmission, any edits were always lost for some reason.

First I had to stop transmission, then edit settings.json adding PC IP, then start transmission... Then the changes stuck and I'm able to load the transmission web interface...

Transmission still wont work :( Can someone please explain how to install it correctly? opkg install transmission doesnt work, even after i edited the settings.json. Maybe someone can send me a correct package of rTorrent? rTorrents works of i skip the dependencies but not correct (which makes sense because i skipped the * libcrypto0.9.7 (>= 0.9.7g) *)
