For installing external plugins (I use 3 of which one is your great plugin yours) there are 2 options -> ipk or wget.

I have put your ipk in a external plugin folder, but this is always the version of the ipk (it updates then through internet, so not a real problem). But for IPTV player I have made a script which I saved in this folder:

#!/bin/bash

Is it possible to also make a wget script for your plugin, so it will always download/install the latest version after a reflash (and I don't have to periodically replace the ipk with a new one?

Mutant HD2400, OpenPLi nightly, 2x DVB-C & 2x DVB-S

Mutant HD51, OpenPLi nightly, 1x DVB-C & 1x DVB-S

Wavefrontier T55 (Astra 1,2,3 en HB)

Smartcards Ziggo (Irdeto) and CDS (Seca) on Oscam

Users can then easily install the plugin through the command line also. Perhaps it might then even be possible to have this script in the downloads section. I know PLi can't host the plugin itself on their servers for legal reasons, but maybe they are willing to put a script in the downloads section. Then they wouldn't host the plugin, only a script that connects to an internet link (and they are not responsible for what is hosted behind the link). But maybe a PLi member can give their view on this (as legally they would never be responsible, but if they don't want to host such a script I would also understand and installing the several external plugins from my one external plugin install folder is also quickly done).

Hi bumperbee, you asked me also to do an addon for  gooddrama which I made for KodiLite. If it is working or not working please me know. Mfaraj and I do similar addons so it is not nice if we have to spend time doing the same item. I only write this for information - not as a criticism. Regards.

Hi PCD, I am very sorry about this as I do not know you had done the addon, I will find time to install it and report back soonest possible.

As for TSmedia, I found these plugins Good Drama and Dramanice in International > Asia but not working, so I thought it would be nice to report it. That’s all, didn’t mean to complicate things.

Thanks very much

Yes changed just for simplicity
I use now this way in all my plugins even in code to update the plugins
It is great with many advantages
Same command used for new versions,as example when plugin published in openpli forum in first page of thread and later you release new version no need to edit first page with the new version(not allowed)
Also it is easy for users to memorize the command or save it as you have done
Also you control the plugin setup by editing the server script and adding and removing lines to facilitate setup and to control dependencies installation
Thank you for this method
