Wow, the non stop function!! Awsome!
Now, it seems that there is some cind of bug, just a small one..
 
When hitting exit and selecting "yes" nothing happens.
So basicly I cant get back to my channels. Have to restart

Try to type the "stop" on the remotecontroll

Would it be possible to use the number keys also when typing in the keyboard? Like if you pres 2 one time it is 2, if you press it twice it is a, if you press it three times it's b etc?

 

Also the keyboard we use is us international (qwerty instead of qwertz). Would it be possible to select this (no biggy if it can't, but I'd thought I'd ask)

TSmedia 2.4 enigma2 plugin

Updates:
IPTV: Arabic,kurdish and Thailand iptv feeds added,thanks for colo colo,duhoki and gmani

Installation:
correct installation is important to receive and play the streams

if plugin previous version is installed just
from update icon do update and restart enigma
or from TSpanel-addons-TSmedia



new install:
for oe1.6 images and openpli2.1:
copy the plugin package from the download link down to box tmp folder and copy this command to telnet window and hit enter
 

opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

 

for oe2.0 and openpli 3.0 images

in the telnet window enter

opkg update
hit enter and wait
copy the following command to telnent window

opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

This tutorial for editing /etc/userstream.xml from pc for TSmedia and also to send any stream url to the bouquets

extact Userstream xml editor to any folder in pc and run it

 Also erst eine Entschuldigung; Ich weiss nicht besonders gut was die Plugins für steaming Media anbieten. Einige have ich probiert und bin ein bisschen enttäuscht was ich gesehen habe. Ich beschreibe also meinen folgenden Vorslag obwohl er schon veraltet sein könnte.

Der normale Sat Empfänger bietet TV und Radio Sektionen. Ich möchte gerne einen dritten Sektion Namens "NetStream" haben, und zwar mit folgenden Eigenschaften:
* Videobouquets, Radiobouquets
* Kanalliste, Favoritenliste, Genreliste, modifizierbar vom Anwender
* Streamsources Web, local Netzwerk
* normale Timer und Aufnahme Services
* Wiedergabe von Aufnahmen durch einen universalen TV/radio/NetStream Mediaplayer
* mehrere Datenformate, die gewöhnlichsten
* Operation von Kanäle genau gleich wie bei normalen TV und Radiokanälen
* Unterstützung im Webinterface, (Hineinschreiben von eigenen Sources, URLs usw)

Die Bestandteile sind schon da, aber keiner hat sie auf diese Weise in Enigma integriert, so weit ich (weiss?).

A normal satreceiver has TV and radio sections. I would like to have a third "netstream" section with the following qualities:
* videobouquets, radiobouquets
* channel lists, favored lists, genre lists, (easily) modifiable by the user
* streamsources web, local network
* the normal timing and recording services
* replay of the recordings through a universal tv/radio/netstream mediaplayer
* support of several codexes, the most popular
* operations on the channels in the same way (the same remote buttons and functions) as the normal tv and radio channels
* support in the webinterface (openwebif or similar), (input of user sources, urls etc)

The various components allready exist, but nobody has yet integrated them in this way as far as I (know?)

 

Tsmedia goes a long way towards the implementation of the foresaid indeed. But it's still a separate plugin and not integrated in the enigma, and this integration is what I miss.

 

I see this plugin as a two part structure. First part ist the functionality (playing of streams, choosing channels, channel database operations, etc), and the second part is the channel database itself. Would it be possible or desirable to program the first part, the functionality in some enigma distribution as part and parcel of it and provide the channel database as a plugin?

 

Or alternatively, to let the plugin to insert  the said functionality into enigma and to have it behave as if it were a born part of  the base system?

played all most all the times, i get a freeze, or stop, even though i have a good internet speed 20 Mb. Is this happening from my end or
is it a server problem. I even uninstalled the plugin and re installed again, but still the same, by the way i have a dm500hd with openpli
image on it. Thank you.

i agree with most of the points mentioned in fact alot of streams could not be played by enigma2 boxes due to missed codec or required library as management of streaming is inefficient also as well as incapabilities of gstreamer to manage different stream formats and even cause box crash when deal with such formats

in comparison with xmbc the enigm2 is far behind

-added export to bouquet function,the stream added will appear under Favorites_stream bouquet,export function will not work with dynamic stream links
remove backup favorites-because now favorites written in /etc/TSmedia_favorites so no fear of overwritten by new update also better to save the file on pc or to include in backup when change image

-added Thialand IPTV,Kurdish IPTV,Arabic IPTV
-all feeds and m3u are updated

Movies:
-added Terrafilm(http://terrafilms.tv/) for italian movies-the scraping script based on work of Terrafilm plugin-thanks for the coder

-settings:removed plugin lock and the adult media lock kept with master unlock number 7777 and the lock number can be changed from /etc/TSmedia_lock file

for oe1.6 images from TSpanel,from update by previous version or by telnet method after copying the plugin ipk to box /tmp directory

opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk
restart enigma2

for oe2.0 images
update from previous version
-from TSpanel better to do opkg update before installing the package from TSpanel/Tunisiasat addons/TSmedia
-by telenet method
opkg update hit enter then

a small suggestion to save the favourites on a central location as a NAS

so you can watch the favourites on all the boxes inside the house

it seems almost impossible to sync the subtitles.

solution;download movie and subtitles

in my example; ted(2012) from ice movies(HD collection)

the downloaded files are;    movie  Ted(2012).mpg

                                        subtitles  Ted.2012 BRRIP.XVID-AC3-pulsar.srt

change the subtitle name in the exact same name as the movie file,

it should be                                     Ted(2012).srt

now put the subtitle file in the same folder as the movie file

 

now you can playback the movie and select the subtitles(yellow/audio  button) as you normally do with other recordings.

 

you will notice that the subtitles are in perfect sync, you can also pause/play the movie as you normally do

 

i hope this will help out some people

i have tested this with 3 movies, works perfectly

sync of subtitle with streamed movies is impossible because subtitle flow designed for locally played movie  and not for slow playing of streamed movie

nilesat channels have dynamic stream links ,mean chaning may be every hour ,so may work in bouquet temporary and stopped after short period because the channel stream link changed

TSmedia 2.6 enigma2 plugin

updates:

- added two french m3u(patyan) to online radio: thanks for pybear38
-settings seperated from updates and need lock number(7777) to enable adult contents,the lock number can be changed from etc/TSmedia_lock file
-library added to updates and include all streaming library needed for playing streams
- fixed bugs reported about json library problem

Installation:
proper installation is important to receive and play the streams

1-if plugin previous version is installed just
from update icon do update and restart enigma
2- TSpanel-addons-TSmedia do first opkg-update then install the plugin
in some images may installation failed because dependent files are not available on the feeds of the image,to solve the problem any missed library can be installed from TSpanel/addons/TSmedia library

3-by telnet method
copy the plugin package to the box /tmp directory by any ftp program like dcc
in the telnet window enter

opkg update
hit enter and wait
copy the following command to telnent window

opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

enter
restart enigma
