Yesterday i noticed that current time on lcd display is not updating when in standby mode.

hmm, the above issue, plus also 'freezing' on-display clock in radio mode, makes this screensaver feature unusable IMO (and at least it should be disabled by default/?/)...

ok, that one I was not sure, apparently I overlooked the fix, sorry ;)
but regarding the radio mode 'frozen' clock issue - I am 100% sure it still appears, today all the morning I had 6:43 ;)

Now I understand what you mean.... as the screensaver is in fact a separate screen indeed it is likely that OSD is likely not..... This is one of the hidden thinks I did not recognize yet...

I think I already have a solution for the timer. Can you check for me please if the clock is updated while you see the 2nd infobar permanently?

Although a little late now. The screensaver also interupts service scanning.

That should be fixed...

@littlesat, is there any reason that the screensaver is burried in the "Sleep Timer Configuration" menu, as opposed to say, the "User Interface", "AV Settings" or "Customise" menu ?

Nice One

Screensaver on/off now in System/User Interface.

I dont know, if it was happy solution move screensaver setting into System/User Interface. I think, all about screensaver, sleeptimer etc is better place in same submenu as it was before.

On most systems it is usually together.

Orriginally I planned the ScreenSaver on the SleepTimer menu... but finally most over here thougt that moving it to the user interface was a better... That is why I moved it.

Do put it on dual locations is also not recommendable.

its not optimal, but be it...

MediaPlayer - playback from playlist - start each next item in playlist interrupts screensaver. It is not good for music.

Will not be better for Mediaplayer plugin make own screensaver ( as black screen only ) with config it in mediaplayer's menu - and for music with f.eg. 5sec and without interrupt it ?

That is indeed again a difficult one. Now in the screensaver there is a detection that stops the screensaver as soon a new service is played. This is required in case a next played service could be a video service... I do not have a clear work-a-round for this one. Indeed it could be considered to add a different screensaver class to the mediaplayer that is slightly different as the one that is currently available in InfoBarGenerics (still the same screensaver screen could be used).

I think, for music could be used black screen with logo and not transparency witl last videoframe. Then will be less power consumed too.
