XP1000 + OpenATV latest image = no go.

"Outside UK", a pop-up windows says, plus "no limelight" or something like that...

Any ideas, please? I'd really like this to work, for my kid to help him speak English properly, as I can't get BBC etc. on 28E with T90, as an extreme position (in Italy), sadly...

Very few UK channels work in TSmedia > IPTV feeds > World IPTV > UK and break up very quickly, sadly...

Thanx!

These services are IP limited to the UK only, so you'll need to use some kind of UK-based proxy to get them to work (no experience with it, sorry).

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Such a proxy is part of the plugin (which has recently been updated). From my own experience I know that from the Netherlands and from France that works fine.

I understand OnDemand still does not work correctly on OpenPLi?

Does anyone know if it works on OpenVIX? I presume not.

BBC,ITV,RTE player and 3player work fine in Greece too.

My box is not supported by openpli directlly,(it's an Azbox Elite running OpenRsi image, which i think is fully based on OpenPli).

Bye.

Yes, it does. Although there are some problems with several changed streams.

install the latest files from the oe-a git for the ondemand plugin, install all of the dependancies, and install this

http://openpli.org/f...attach_id=52009

if you dont install the 'extras' then it wont run, as these files are not part of the on demand plugin, nor are they part of most images, yet the on demand plugin needs them in order to run

i have it running perfectly on a latest self built pli image

ttp://openpli.org/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=52009

Would it be too much asking for the exact link to oe-a git and all the dependencies I need?

Also, does it work outside the UK? In other words, does it have a built-in proxy?

Apparently it does have a proxy built-in, if you read the thread... But these free proxies have a tendency of being over-used and clogged up... in my experience...

As you can see, in some countries it does work...

Reading this it looks like it would be very easy for you to create an ipk for PLi. Would you do that please?

ive just checked both bbc and itv players, and both are working

earlier in this thread, there is a post my myself with a load of files attached, this is the on demand plugin setup as an ipk, the extras as an ipk, and all the dependancies as ipk files

then pheonix has posted 2 files that fix the bbc iplayer which has been updated since the files i posted, as well as the geo lock file, which has also been updated

if you read this thread from the begining, install the files needed, as posted, then the few updated files as directed, you will have a fully working ondemand plugin running in pli in exactly the same way as it does in the oe-a images

OpenATV are OE-Alliance members and I presume they make their stuff from common OE-Alliance GIT, so if that stuff is in there it should work. But it isn't, sadly...

So, it would be cool if somebody could actually put together the whole package to install in one go - there would be plenty of us to help with world-wide testing...

Thanx!

it should just be a matter of installing it directly from within their ( eo-alliance ) feeds.

Not just this image, not just me, as you can see...

It seems to me it could be more to it than the plugin itself...
