if someone went onto the vix forum, and started telling their members to abandon the image and use OpenPLi instead, all hell would break loose.

Please, feel free to do so.

Although I don't believe in 'forcing' people to use a specific image.

But everyone's opinion on an image is welcome of course.

I read that as a reaction to the previous post, which suggested people to dump OpenPLi and switch to VIX, as "you should not write on an OpenPLi forum to dump OpenPLi" ;)

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

That was not the opinion of The ViX team nor was the post made by a member of the ViX team, but by a private user. Digidude is trying to stir up old arguments here which have no place on this forum, so best to just ignore them / him.

Well, I didn't see what the fuzz was about until SatKiekerd responded. For me it was a simple "don't go onto the board of image A and tell visitors there to switch to image B" kind of message, and I can agree with that.

I fully agree and no one from the ViX team would even suggest such a thing, that post was the opinion of a private user and not that of the ViX team.

Sorry what I meant is IMHO and also certain forum's are more sensible not to let things like wha

t image people use to course "hell to break out" I didn't realise people were so touchy about it!

We are all talking here about how to fully install OnDemand on OpenPLi but I have a different question.

What is the best way to actually uninstall it?

What telnet commands shall I use, please?

ET9000, OpenPLi 4.0, 13E, 19E

HD51, OpenPLi 6.2, 75E - 30W

It's not a issue with OnDemand but a change made by Tunlr who we were using to get around the Geo blocks.

Mac is looking into incorporating a login type interface for users to input their own proxy details in etc but he has to work around his job so it may be a little while.
