BlackPole and BlackHole are two different things.
@bacicciosat
Why the most important new feature IMO (transcoding) has only a paragraph in your test - and not much is mentioned about it ?
Again - selling an stb with bells and whistles (LCD gimmicks, bigger front panel..). I am not going to stash 600 quid on a new black box, just because these guys said so...What does this stb bring new to the market beside it`s price and shinny interface ?

Let me tell you whats my problem...
Your patrons were asking a large amount of money to try testing turbo modulation features in vu-duo stb.
Not even considering trying and see if these features are available or not.
After ones buys their equipment they were blatantly refusing communication supposing they are only supporting european market.
I spoke my mind - never again believe in bells and whistles.
P.S. On the other hand DM have tried graciously and even maintained contact when was the case for testing,
and no money involved..

Oops, sorry about that.
Hmm, it looks like BlackHole is closed source (just as VTi).....

Indeed, these obviously sponsored ads are done in such a manner that one simply has to be suspicious about them, whether you want to be or not - it's just automatically there...
Not a drop of any real testing and description/proof of how this actually functions, it seems to me, no real challenge of any sort and so...
As quick tests go, one must wait for more thorough, more challenging and independent tests...

my patrons ?
ok ok bye bye.
For God sake...don`t get upset for the truth spoken. We all know teams names, and their role in stb development.
Are you from Mars ? Why would you promote vuplus products, then ?
You are not a polite person in a civil discussion.
Me and other ppl are clear ppl that support something publicly. This can be for personal choices or sponsor reasons or other causes but don't allow you to use such kind of offensive words.
Btw ppl like me are known and make our support "in the light of the sun". We are not anonymous usernames going in boards to attack other ppl and products for personal and hidden interests.
So please try to be more polite because this is my last post here.

Yours is certainly for at least personal reasons, if not countable ones, as is the case in so many such "happenings"...
Oh, and btw, it is not "polite" to constantly play an "offended diva" and try to emotionally blackmail people into being non-critical towards the stuff you say, with "I shall leave" constantly... No one believes it after a while... But since I now live in Italy I can see how this is a usual type of behaviour...

@bacicciosat
I am polite when I need to be - but I cannot be polite when others are offending my intelligence.
hope you understand and appreciate that - and yes it is all personal to me since I have spent countless
hours with my devotion to enigma2 projects and for that reason I have my reasons to speak like that.
@WanWizard
If you do not accept me as I am I have nothing to say in public for the sake of others and I will probably
apologize and leave this board immediately since it is not reflecting my interests or aspirations.

ok pop_eye as you wants.
i understand you have personal reasons.
But please don't use with me offensive terms.
I have already forgotten what was spoken - in other words just leave things as they are to make
place to friendship and recognition. I have never said coders are bad persons - only companies management is.
I am always on the positive side when improvement and fruitful discussion is developed for the sake of others.
So how is the transcoding functioning ?

Ev0 reported that transcoding function is much better in duo2 than i solo2.
But today as you can see in vuplus git have been improved.
They added in plugin and in drivers the option to set bitrate/framerate

But we have not yet tested this.
