Hi,

I just bought Vu + Solo2 1T.
The images provided for Solo2 and the problem still.
(DiSEqC A / B / C for Hotbird, Astra Astra 19 & 28).
Separately, the tuners work properly.
When the first tuner is busy (recording or streaming) the second does not looped over. The Solo2 work as if only one tuner was connected and access to other channels unshaded is impossible. (SNR values: zero).
I've never encountered this problem with the Vu+Duo and OpenPli.

Thank you for your help, I'm out of idea ...

Hi, it seems you have only ONE cable. On the Solo2 the cable MUST be connected to tuner B and tuner A must be looped to tuner B. If you have connected your cable to tuner A it cannot work. ciao

Actually this doesn't work on OpenPLI. Because of a driver bug, a hack in the enigma2 code is needed which is not used in OpenPLI.

And for this driver bug, VU+ needs to fix this, not OpenPLi...

on the Glassfibre 1GB DVB-C...

Thank you to explain WHY this problem disappears when I flashes with VTI (which I do not like) ???

Because VTi is based on the manufacturer image and they do not need to support other boxes.... so they can keep hack-a-rounds from VU+ in E2.

It's a difficult question.

You can write a bug report here. http://vuplus.com/su...eportWrite.html

TechniSat Multytenne Twin: 19,2°E | 13,0°E | 23,5°E | 28,2°E -> OpenPLi4.0@vusolo2
Multifeed Offset: 19,2°E | 13,0°E | 4,8°E | 5,0°W  -> OpenPLi4.0@dm800se + OpenPLi4.0@vuzero

Anything new on this solo2 loop through problem?

I'm stuck to VTI image for that reason only, and I'm looking forward to flashing back to OpenPli  :)

I would recommend to contact VU... they need to make the change... we refuse to do "ugly" patches for them.

Right! But what should I tell them? "Stop doing "ugly" programming?"  :D
