OK.

Something tells me that you are using Crossepg.

The channels have very similar entry. Just the Namespace is different, and crossepg does not handle this correctly.

A solution might be using the rytec.channels.xml-sat.gz file instead of the rytec.channels.xml.gz file. File can be found on the useal download sites. This file does not contain the cable references.

MTV IDOL HD (same EPG as MTV IDOL)

1:0:19:1F43:42E:1:C00000:0:0:0 (currently has wrong EPG from a different french channel)

1:0:1:1f43:42e:1:ffff0122:0:0:0:

MTV PULSE HD (same EPG as MTV PULSE )

1:0:19:1F42:42E:1:C00000:0:0:0 (currently has wrong EPG from a different french channel)

1:0:1:1f42:42e:1:ffff0122:0:0:0:

NON STOP PEOPLE HD

1:0:19:24BD:43C:1:C00000:0:0:0 (currently has wrong EPG from a different french channel)

1:0:1:24bd:43c:1:ffff02c2:0:0:0:

1:0:19:24D1:43C:1:C00000:0:0:0

Furthermore, no epg for non stop people can be found.

Well, yeah, I use CrossEPG.

Did I understand that correctly: You mean to say that CrossEPG is the culprit for some of the wrong EPG info due to how it handles the namespaces?

Thanks for your work.

Yes in this sort of cases. Crossepg does not handle the namespace correctly.

But I gave you a solution. Use the channels file: rytec.channels.xml-sat.gz

You have to edit the crossepg configuration files for this.

Hi,

People are still using CrossEPG because they don't know the alternative: xmltvimport instead of CrossEPG.

Simply uninstall CrossEPG and install xmltvimport.

If I am right:

opkg update && opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport

You can also load xmltvimport with the plugin import interface.

I am on an OE 2.0 DMM experimental image, so CrossEPG is the only option AFAIK.

Well I was using CrossEPG and as a lot of posts invite us to use xmltvimport instead, I followed this recommandation.

I see that Gredos gave us some references (while using CrossEPG), but I can't see any EPG on these channels with xmltvimport :

MTV HD : 1_0_19_1F4E_42E_1_C00000_0_0_0

MTV BASE HD : 1_0_19_1F4B_42E_1_C00000_0_0_0

MTV IDOL HD : 1_0_19_1F43_42E_1_C00000_0_0_0

MTV PULSE HD : 1_0_19_1F42_42E_1_C00000_0_0_0

EUROSPORT 2 HD : 1_0_19_24BE_43C_1_C00000_0_0_0

CINE+ FRISSON HD : 1_0_19_227B_438_1_C00000_0_0_0

Do you have any idea if something went wrong recently or if it never worked before ?

OK, they do not have epg either on my box.

So I suppose they never worked.

Although the links are present in the channels file, and the SD counterpart (which share the same epg) have epg.

So this will require some debugging work.

To be continued.

Found it.

It is really simple. The XMLTV importer is supposed to download each day a fresh channels file.

Sometimes this does not happen, and the import uses the channels file it has in its memory. In this case an old one which does not have the links in it.

In order to solve this, restart enigma on your box, and you will force an reload of the channels file (A reboot of the box will also do).

Willy

PS: this was also the case on my box

Thanks for your reply. A simple enigma reboot or box reboot didn't do the trick.

I had to :

- stop enigma (init 4),

- delete epg.dat,

- restart enigma (init 3)

- download EPG again

Everything is OK now

Hello Willy,

I have not any more the EPG for Motors TV 1:0:1:2525:456:1:C00000:0:0:0:

Do you think the solution may be to delete EPG database and restart Enigma?

Thank you :)

Looks like a grabber problem.

I have also only until today.

Remember I grab these from the MotorsTv site.

And normally a website from the channel itself, has a webmaster with too much time and they like to change things.
