Anyone using this position: 36E and DM800se? After installing the latest OpenPLi images (i've tried OpenPLi-3.0-beta-dm800se-20130414.nfi and OpenPLi-3.0-beta-dm800se-20130416.nfi) no transponders are found. Tested with the original satellites.xml, then with the previous one i successfully used before and one from http://satellites-xml.eu/. Of course restarted after each satellites.xml change and double checked everything. Nope helps! It just not able to find any transponders from this position.

Then i flashed back OpenPLi-3.0-beta-dm800se-20130409.nfi. All works with this and transponders are found as usual. I don't use old setttings, all is configured from scratch after i reflash. So i guess there must be something wrong with the latest images.

BTW, i use 10/1 Disecq and 36E circular LNB. This needs user defined LNB settings i know very well and used many years already. Maybe something is changed in latest drivesrs or code what affects this configuration..

That's what was used without any positive results. As i posted above the same configuration is working perfectly with OpenPLi-3.0-beta-dm800se-20130409.nfi but not with newer releases.

I have the same problem on my DM500 HD with OpenPli 4.0 beta. Cannot scan 36E and transponders are shown H/V instead of L/R as it should be for 36E. What is the solution for this ?

I am not using any plugin for the scan. I use simple Service searching from the Setup menu.

As I just have been informed, due to our geographic position we cannot check this issue. The question is whether we caused this issue or whether the cause of the issue lies elsewhere.

Many answers to your question can be found in our wiki: Just one click away from this "solutioncentre".

If I had all the knowledge I had no questions at all.

This sounds very much like a problem on 5W last year (or maybe two years ago). Two providers used the same tsid. I suppose they think it's no problem, apparently you're not supposed to watch both providers on one single receiver ;)

Somebody boldly contacted Eutelsat and Eutelsat confirmed that the practise is not allowed and they would address the providers to correct this.

Maybe somebody should contact Eutelsat over this issue as well.

Why not make a workaround?
Open PLi is open software and it is a huge advantage, we did not ask anyone for help.
Especially because in the Eutelsat useless to complain.
Thousands of people are waiting for our help for several years.

If the scan frequency 12174 L /DVB-S/4340/ 3/4 / tsid 0008 -->frequency 12284 R / DVB-S/27500 / 3/4 / TSID 0008 overwrite the frequency12174 L /DVB-S/4340/ 3/4 / tsid 0008  in lamedb.

Help fix it, I do not know C + :(

I also do not know C +, and therefore probably wrong, but I think in scan.cpp in isValidONIDTSID: https://sourceforge....vb/scan.cpp#l48

need to add:

case 0x0070: // Eutelsat W7 36.0E 12174L and 2174L
    ret = orbital_position != 360 || tsid != 0x0008;
    break;

In the near future I will examine it, and if it will work then add the patch.
But as I wrote, I may be wrong.
