Hi,today after software update my dm500hd stuck at boot screen.I tried to flash it via dreamup using the usb and the problem remains.

And if you flash an image from the day before yesterday the box works like before, or still identical issue?
Mijn schotel is een T90 met 10 LNB's. Daarnaast voor de fun nog een draaibaar systeem met een Triax TD 78.
Dreamboxen heb ik niet meer echt actief. Verder heb ik ook nog een een VU+ duo2 met 500Gb harddisk + een VU+ Uno, Zero, Solo 4K, Ultimo 4K, Zero 4K, Uno 4Kse. + ook nog een Xtrend ET7x00. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog diverse andere modellen w.o. een Formuler F4, ET8500, ET7500, Mut@nt 2400HD, Xsarius Fusion HD se en verder nog wel het e.e.a. waarmee op verzoek vanalles wordt getest. Iemand moet het tenslotte doen. 
Los van de eerder genoemde modellen heb ik nog wel een rits aan testsamples als Mut@nt 2400HD, HD60, GB UE4K, GB Trio4K, Maxitec Multibox combo en Twin, Octagon sf8008, sf8008 mini en last but nog least enkele modellen van het Grieks Duitse Edision.
Voor centrale opslag van media gebruik ik een Qnap 219P met tweemaal 2 Tb harddisks + een Synology DS414 met 12 Tb Totale opslag.

Ook bij mijn DM 8000 loopt de flash van 18 april vast.
Dus de flash van 16 april gebruikt en....PRIMA !

as every monring i updated online the firmaware with the latest build (18-4-2013) but the receiver never rebooted again! i tried reflashing with the same firmaware build but still no rebboting! so i went back to build 16-4-2013 and everything is ok again!

Or did it reboot normally, but the drivers did not load?
(in that case, you'd still have telnet access for instance)

My dm500 stuck at screen which shows the dreambox not the flowers screen.

The same here: stuck at the bootloader (#84) bootscreen. With the image from 2013-04-16 My DM8000 boots again. (after getting rid of the CF with my autobackup - probably a local problem)
1x VU+ Ultimo 4K (1x FBC DVB-C, 1x FBC DVB-S2, 4TB HDD ST4000VN008), 1x ET10.000 (3x DVB-C, 1x DVB-S2, 4TB HDD ST4000VN000) , NFS mount naar QNAP, Astra 1,2,3, DVB-C via Ziggo (regio 5555)

stuck at the bootloader(#84) bootscreen. I flashed it with the older version of openpli, now the box is normal

Me too with my DM8000.
Old backup from 15.04. worked normal.
With this update I noticed the first time that files were deleted during the update/download process.

My builded firmware (today morning , = same as 18.04., was flashen into box and box ( checked via webif) works well. (DM800SE)

Did anyone check whether the box actually booted, but failed to load its drivers, or it failed to boot alltogether?
It's either the bootloader or the driver update, we need to find out which.
Somebody with a dm500hd has to tell us.

After updating yesterday night, I get the same problem on my DM7020HD!
The DM booted as usual untill the picture of the front of DM was shown on the screen, and than evrything stopping working.
I think the DM failed to load the bootloader så enigma can work normaly.
I dont have telnet and ftp connection!
what shall I do, pls help?

Altough Telnet and SSH is not responding.
also no ping to the box is possible so it's stuck.

Me too with DM8000.
After "bootlogo-dm8000.elf.gz", "dhcp" and "vmlinux-3.2-dm8000.gz" is shown in the front display - but no boot process starts.
Do you think there will be a solution to get the dreambox working again - e.g. via flashing a repaired bootloader?
Or is it better to flash an old version - and hope that future updates will be ok.

Well, I just updated to the last version today and my dm800se seems dead. No boot logo, no signal on tv, just the pic of a chip and a usb cable in the in the lcd screen of the dm800, with the message "2nd failed". Will try to solve it tomorrow.

Because you used still old build ( 20130419). As you can see, new night build was finished after 05:21. Use this one ( 20130420 ). It works well.
