Dear support,

The channel "T.TV" (Tehran TV) on Hotbird frq 11317 V has no audio in all VU models! Would you please fix this problem for us.

Regards

Can you post an enigma2 log?

Did you ever use dvbsnoop? Can you post dvbsnoop output of pid 0 and pmt pid?

Does audio work when you start timeshift (for some radio stations it's a workaround)?

Dear betacentauri,

I have no dvbsnoop on my system. Would you please help me how I can post enigma2 log or starting timeshift for solving this problem.

You don't know how to start timeshift

It depends on your box. Press pause, play or yellow button. Then video should stop. Wait some seconds and with pause/play you start playing video.

Do you have linux?

Or better: Can you make a short recording (only 10-20 seconds) and post it here? If you don't want to publish it here, you can send it me via personal message.

Hi there!

The audio is OK in time shift mode! The audio PID is 1224 & the video PID & PCR are 1024.

Ok, in that case the pcr timestamps most likely do not match the video/audio pts. Something which needs to be fixed by the provider.

But why does it work in timeshift?
Timestamps are not changed while recording, or?

Pcr is only used in live mode. So playback or timeshift ignore the invalid timestamps.

Ah, interesting.
So use timeshift or do recordings as workaround.

Thx for your comments

But the audio is ok in all boxes except VU+! It must be someting wrong with the VU+ images.

Could be that the vu's are more sensitive to pcr errors (or to big a difference between pts and pcr) but still I think the provider might do something which is not entirely within the standards
