Hello to the Forum,

 

I have just joined!!

 

I have only been using neutrino up till now, but i have aquired a dm7000 and neutrino support is sh1te.

 

Pli looked good and i'm up and running in no time.

 

Ok so on to the question:-

 

while setting up Pli for the first time it asks "single or multiple sat's"

I selected single- everything went well.

 

Now when i click OK button it gives me the option of selecting all services, sat, providers, bouq's

As i have already selected 1 sat only why doesnt it go straight to the Bouq list,

What have i done wrong? and or how easy is this to achieve,

I assume you mean the install wizard. After you select your setup, it needs to scan to construct the channel list. Sounds like you have aborted the installation wizard after satellite setup.

 

If the wizard didn't perform a scan, there is no channel list, and you get an empty window with 'all services', 'sats', 'providers' and 'bouquets' color buttons (that all give an empty window too).

 

So, either do a manual transponder scan, or use a tool like dreamboxedit to upload an existing list, including bouquets.

I have got services and bouquets uploaded and working.

 

But I still have the option of selecting 'all services, satellite, providers, bouquets,'

I dont understand why the options are there everytime i click Ok button.

 

My point is this:-

Once i have setup bouquets-

I'm not likely to want to view 'All services' as I have set up the channel listing and removed all the crap.

 

I'm very unlikely to want to list by provider as i'm more likely to navigate to the channel by Genre (Bouquet) and then channel name.

 

As i have selected 'Single satellite' on setup then I'm never going to browse channels by satellite??

 

I am going to use those lovely bouquets that i spent ages getting right.

 

So why not give the option to set the OK button to got straight to the bouquets list?

 

All of the Enigma images i have now experimented with all do the same thing.

I need things simple for the oldies when they baby sit and for the kids, Its making it idiot proof for other members of the family that is the problem. I dont like giving options of clicking the wrong button and getting an unfamiliar list up.
