Hi!

For some reason LIV is showing same EPG than JIM. From telkku.com & telvis.fi I see that there channels are correct.

Here is link for my problem (pics). First one is EPG and 2nd is after going to that LIV-channel.

What should I do to correct this problem or what information you needed that you can correct problem.

Thank you very much.

Could you give me the service refs of both the channels pls.

In the XMLTV file is the following info:

Both are clearly correct.  (As far as I can tell - because I have to compare word for word)

I have also following service refs in the channels fle:

These are clearly different enough to not cause any trouble.

So problem is, at the moment I cannot figure out what is wrong.

The only action I can advise is now, clear all epg in our box. an reimport.

If you use crossepg, also clear the crossepg database.

Hi!

I made new channels searching (both S&T-tuners) and right now (yesterday evening) it seems to be fine.

http://192.168.1.45/...ouquet&name=Jim

ref=1:134:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM%20BOUQUET%20%22alternatives.jim.tv%22%20ORDER%20BY%20bouquet&name=Jim

http://192.168.1.45/...ouquet&name=Liv

ref=1:134:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM%20BOUQUET%20%22alternatives.liv.tv%22%20ORDER%20BY%20bouquet&name=Liv

Hmm... it is not... yesterday evening everything was just fine (in these 2 channels default tuner is T-tuner and S-tuner is alternative) but right now it seems that something is changing T-tuner service refs wrong. However when I zap to LIV channel it is actually showing LIV not Jim. I am confused what to do next? It seems that crossepg/Rytec is clearly reason for this!! Anything for helping me right track? I am using VU+ Ultimo with VTi 5.1.0.

I think first I try to change default tuner for LIV to S-tuner and alternative to T-tuner.

Br!

First of all stop using Crossepg.  It does strange things.

Use XMLTV importer instead.

Secondly give the service reference for both Jim and liv.  (Sat and Terrestrial).

It is this stuff: 1:0:16:1195:48:46:E080000:0:0:0:

TY... now I need a little bit help  :unsure:

Where I can find plugin XMLTV importer?

Here is:

root@vuultimo:/etc/enigma2# more userbouquet.favourites.tv
#NAME Favourites (TV)
#SERVICE 1:134:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM BOUQUET "alternatives.yle_tv1.tv" ORDER BY bouquet
#SERVICE 1:134:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM BOUQUET "alternatives.yle_tv2.tv" ORDER BY bouquet
#SERVICE 1:0:19:B75:3D:46:E070000:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:134:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM BOUQUET "alternatives.mtv3.tv" ORDER BY bouquet
#SERVICE 1:134:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM BOUQUET "alternatives.nelonen.tv" ORDER BY bouquet
#SERVICE 1:134:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM BOUQUET "alternatives.sub.tv" ORDER BY bouquet
#SERVICE 1:134:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM BOUQUET "alternatives.jim.tv" ORDER BY bouquet
#SERVICE 1:0:1:A1:3001:20F6:EEEE0000:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:134:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM BOUQUET "alternatives.liv.tv" ORDER BY bouquet
#SERVICE 1:0:1:B2:5001:20F6:EEEE0000:0:0:0:

Is this "right" paste from right file?

I also have couple of files in directory /etc/enigma2

-rw-------    1 root     root            98 Feb  5 21:28 alternatives.jim.tv
-rw-------    1 root     root            99 Feb 15 21:57 alternatives.liv.tv

In there is:

root@vuultimo:/etc/enigma2# more alternatives.jim.tv
#NAME Jim
#SERVICE 1:0:1:81:5001:20F6:EEEE0000:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:0:16:60B:48:46:E070000:0:0:0:

and

root@vuultimo:/etc/enigma2# more alternatives.liv.tv
#NAME Liv
#SERVICE 1:0:1:B1:2001:20F6:EEEE0000:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:0:16:1195:48:46:E070000:0:0:0:
root@vuultimo:/etc/enigma2#

But as you can see these files are quite old - timestamp is from February...

Pasi

Found this one.

<channel id="Jim.fi">1:0:1:B1:2001:20F6:EEEE0000:0:0:0:</channel> <!-- Jim -->

Looks like this is the culprit.

I have removed it.

Will upload the new channels file later today.  (after some more editing)

I think so.

But I have attached them here.  Hopefully they will install on your image (Is python version depended  and requires some python libraries also installed)

TY very many!! How can I modify that xmltvimport is saving & using epg-data from USB-stick? (or is this happening automatically?)

btw. it seems that this plugin is working also in VTi image...

The epg.dat file is commonly seen as the vehicle for XMLTV.

This is a misconception.  The epg.dat is a file from enigma, in which the epg is stored when the enigma is stopped or the receiver is shut down.  Upon restart this file is read again in memory to restore the epg.

On images without the oudeis patch, epg.dat is used to get epg into memory.  In these cases the XMLTV importer and Croseepg generate an epg.dat file.  Subsequently enigma is restarted and the new epg is read.  But this is the only use of epg.dat.

How do I now if my image is oudeis patched?  If you import epg via XMLTV of Crossepg and the image automatically restarts then your image is not patched.  The patched images can receive the epg data directly.

The XMLTV importer uses no other storage, except from some temporarily storage of the downloaded data files.  But there is no need to worry about these since place is choosen upon availability.   /tmp/, /usb/ or /hdd/

You can set the storage device for the epg.dat file by editing the settings file in /etc/enigma2 when enigma is stopped.

init 4  (to stop enigma)

edit now /etc/enigma2/settings

add or change

config.misc.epgcache_filename=/media/usb/epg.dat

init 3 (to restart enigma)
