Hello everyone,
I have a problem with the crossepg installed on a dm500hd original.

I drain the Italian with OpenTV EPG for satellite and terrestrial but then this error can you help me please?

have also error with OPEN TV skayitalia +italy.xmltv.

 

Nothing downloaded and Dreambox reboots ?

I found out that with "enable csv import" data is restorted ...but rebooting everytime is a hassle

Be aware that Cross uses a memory hungry way of importing and especially parsing data. The reboot might be caused by a shortage of memory.

The use of a swap-file usually helps.

Which image do you use?

On some images a restart of enigma is needed to load the imported epg.  So it is possible not a crash you experiencing.

Do you have a crashlog?  If yes pls. post it (as an attachment)

Have Merlin OE 2

Parts referring to epg dat is  correct.

When checking flash I get "flash:popen error"

I can't get rid of it unles uninstalling the package

This is something which is provided by the image.  You cannot install it.

Probably the image you are using has problems with epg import.

Try looking at the support for the Merlin OE2 image. 

 

You could also change to OpenPLi.

I did a quick search on the Merlin Image.

 

My conclusion:  It is based on the the original dreambox image which is not patched.  They are stubborn about this.

Crossepg and the XMLTV importer will not run properly on these images to my knowledge.

 

I found this (but I do not know if this something which will import the epg - no details)

crossepg works with the OE2.0 based images

on pli and using OpenTV of land from error does not work ......

Actually I had been using it until reflashing.

 

Anyway as of yesterday it seems to be working again.

 

Have changed the label of the stick to USB.

Hope it keeps working 

 

Merlin epg etc. are quite low level compared to crossepg.

Merlin EPG is a "UI" to see the EPG

 

crossepg is a tool to download EPG info from external sources

 

so, 2 completely different things

 

 

in fact you can see the EPG loaded with crossepg in the Merlin EPG

how can you do to get into the "boot order provaider" the sort selection as it was previously on OE1.6.

Now the section is empty ....... there are no more groups selected provaider you could move and decide the order of download
